We all started our morning together. Coffee for big people and apple juice for little people. Mommy got busy scooping Ms. Allie and Mr. Arlo poo out our yard in preparation of mowing (while you two pointed to every single pile and yelled, "Ewwww POOP Momma!" As if our neighbors wanted to hear every time a poo was spotted ha/ha Daddy got busy trying to replace his battery in his truck. Daddy had to run to Rural King for something, he asked if you two wanted to go....and well, of course you both were excited to go on an adventure with Daddy. Mommy was shocked to realize, after you guys had returned, Daddy allowed you, Jude, to go in your sister's bright-lacy-pink-&-black-Hello Kitty skirt, your sweatshirt, and your army boots. Boy I bet you were a sight for all the farmers!
By the time you guys returned, Mommy had finished mowing the yard. Mommy then used a knife to clear out all the weeds/grass in our sidewalk cracks (something Mommy hasn't kept up on like I'd like since moving here, but Buddha, you were eager to help :) You both were sitting out front pulling weeds with Momma when the UPS guy pulled up (one of Mommy's and Grandmoo's old friends). Mommy told you both that Grandmoo use to drive one of those trucks and deliver packages, you both laughed as if you didn't believe me. When our UPS guy brought Daddy's early Father's Day package, he commented, "Hello Ladies." HA/HA! That's what you get Jude :)- Bodhi, you don't like it when men/boys/guys talk to Mommy....it's hilarious and I have no idea where you have developed this dislike, but you always say real hatefully, "who is that Mommy, why is he talking to you?" Really?!
We continued our yard work, Daddy got the weed whacker up and running for Momma, and I edged our driveway and part of our sidewalk but I had to quit after we ran out of our gas/oil mixture. Oh well! Our neighbors, the Yorks', had visitors from Ireland, and they came over and talked to Mommy and the two of you, Mommy could listen to them talk all day!
After our long hard day in the yard (and on your bikes) we all went in and passed out in Daddy's office...our favorite family napping spot. We awakened just after 6pm. Mommy got you two bathed and fed, and then we had a little more play time before you two crashed. Nighty night sweet babes!
Our garden and flowers in bloom :)
