Cookout Cancellation :(

Momma, Momma, can we eat our cereal outside this morning.  YES!  And so we went outside, Bodhi, with your blue bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Buddha, with your yellow bowl filled with "Wally" cereal, and Mommy with my green bowl of Cheerios :)  We went outside at 9:30 a.m., and we didn't come inside until 7:30 p.m.  Aunt Dianna had sent Mommy a text message asking if we wanted to have a cookout at our house, and that she would bring steaks and goodies.  Mommy was jazzed, as were the two of you!  You two got busy playing in your sandbox, and Mommy mowed the yard.  Sister Kelly's and Brother Franky's (and Brother Ryan's)  Momma stopped by to pick up her check while we were working in the yard. She complimented our yard and the two of you.  Mommy told you both who she was, and you, Buddha said, as Maryann was walking away...tell her to come back and play with me ha/ha!

We continued on, working in the yard planting plants, watering flowers and our garden, spray painting randon things hee/hee and of course, playing in the water and sandbox.  We had an awesome day outdoors!  Mommy was getting the grill ready for the Rudd crowd, but then came dark storm clouds.  Mommy and Dianna were so looking forward to chilling out in the backyard, eating, drinking wine, and watching all you little suckers play, so we started to panic (texting back and forth  trying to decide if we should try it or not).  Sure enough, it wasn't but maybe a half hour later and it started pouring.  Buddha, you went to swing and watch the storm roll in with Mommy on the porch.  Bodhi, you opted to run to Menards for some additional supplies with Daddy.  Mommy and Dianna decided to move our cookout to a different night :(  Her kiddos and you two were so bummed, but I think Mommy and Dianna were even more bummed!  Mommy made ribs and baked potatoes for our dinner and Dianna took her kiddos to a dutch cafe, which we would have joined them...but we were all covered in dirt and smelled horribly.

After swinging, errands, and dinner, Mommy threw you both in the bath tub. Mommy sent Daddy to find a "cute ironing board" ha/ha!  Poor Daddy, he went to five stores trying to find the ironing board in Mommy's head (but not even Mommy could remember where I had seen the one I liked).  Buddha, you broke Mommy ironing board a couple of weeks back :(  After baths, you, Ms. Bodhi wanted Mommy to rock you.  We all headed to Jude man's room where Momma rocked you, but then you both wanted to play a game of basketball.  We shot hoops, cheered, and played for a good hour.  Neither of you wanted to go to bed them...so you both went and slept with Daddy downstairs for a while.   Mommy then got busy making pennants for Aunt Gabby's baby shower scheduled for Sunday :)  Mommy had fabric laid out all over our bed... and a huge mess ha/ha!

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes :)
