Arrrrggggh! What's Up with Mommy's Matey's?

Today began with us eating breakfast and getting dressed for gymnastics.  Buddha, you took a step backwards, and refused to go into your gymnastics class without Mommy or Aunt Dianna.  Aunt Dianna, with Rowan strapped to her back, guided you inside in an attempt to get you accustomed to leaving your Mommy behind ha/ha!  That initially worked, however, you caught a glimpse of what appeared to be GiGi watching out the second story window ha/ha...it was GiGi, and we all could tell by the look on your face that you had spotted her.  You immediately started walking toward the door, gymnastics over ha/ha!  Mommy was able to divert you and get you back on track, and yes, Mommy had to hold your hand for the first five minutes.  You were the only one in your class today, so you didn't get any rest.  You went from one tumbling task to the next, over and over.  I think this wore you down quicker because you were being stubborn toward the end of your session.  You were even talking like a baby...Mommy doesn't know what was up with you today, however I would soon discover what part of your problem was later in the day.

We headed home, Bodhi, you did great sitting on GiGi's lap (hiding her from Jude's view).  Jude, you managed to earn your sticker, you are such a stinker!  Once home, we all get busy getting dirty.  We planted, picked our garden crops, and watered our plants.  Mommy made you both lunch and we had a picnic outdoors.  Daddy arrived home with yet another Mother's Day plant (I think Daddy just likes having an excuse to add flowers to our "Irish Garden").  We all sat on the front porch swing and enjoyed the breeze.  Daddy then trimmed the front rose bushes, especially the one that had grown over our mailbox, making the delivery of our mail a difficult task :/

Mommy then packed you, Buddha in the car.  Bodhi, yous stayed behind with Daddy.  Mommy took you, Mr. Buddha, to your follow-up ear appointment.  Well.... bad news!  You are scheduled to get your third set of tubes next Monday.  The doctor is using a new kind of tubes since you continue to have problems.  These tubes may have to be surgically removed later, but they should do the job.  Dr. Harmon said you ear, even after antibiotics, looks bad.  So little guy, you'll soon be feeling much better again, but you'll have to miss next Monday's gymnastics appointment.  Aunt Dianna says you will be permitted to make it up in a different two-year old class though :)

Once home, Mommy put you two down for a nap.  Bodhi, you didn't nap.  Jude man, you thankfully took an hour and a half nap, however you were still cranky and crazy as ever.  You and your sister were wearing on Mommy's nerves as you two were giving Mommy a difficult time.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped over, Mommy didn't fix chicken (which was becoming our routine Monday family meal) but instead I grilled hamburgers out on the grill.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron arrived, but Sister Kelly wasn't hungry, so she passed on our Monday family meal.  You two ate (grudgingly) and then played in the yard, and climbed on Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron.  Mommy then packed you two in the stroller and headed to Dianna's house.  We all took a much needed walk through downtown and all along the walking path.  You two had crashed by the end of the walk...Thank goodness, you two were cranky butts!  Mommy didn't even try to bathe the two of you, it was straight to sleepville once we arrived home.  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes! :)

Mommy won't lie, I love every minute with the two of you, but I was glad today finally ended ha/ha!  Boy were you two handfuls!
A pretty little spot in downtown Kokomo, during our evening walk with the Rudd family :)

Precious little sleeping babes :)
