First Friday

You two spent the morning and afternoon with Daddy while Mommy filled in for a co-worker, supervising a visit in Lafayette.  We have big plans ha/ha for tonight after Mommy gets off work though :)  Daddy reports that you two played outside for a while and then he brought you in to feed you and put you down for a nap.  You two awakened once Mommy arrived home from work.

Aunt Laura Stiner and Aunt Dianna Rudd informed Mommy and Aunt Samara that stores downtown stay open late the first Friday of each month, and encouraged us all to meet up downtown.  You two and Daddy were excited to attend, especially since the festivities also included a concert in the park.

Mommy came home and got you two dressed and packed into the stroller.  It was looking as though we weren't going to get to go because it kept sprinkling off and on.  Dianna informed Mommy that she and her hubby had a babysitter for her kiddos, Laura couldn't make it because her hubby was getting off work too late, and Samara had a bridal party to attend.  So, we were basically on our own, Dianna and her hubby, Andy, decided to take advantage of being child-less and visited our neighborhood pub.

We started our adventure a little shop filled with little treasures.  The owner of the store told Mommy to go and fetch the two of you and Daddy who were waiting outside (the stroller wouldn't fit in the door).  They had a children's book author in the store and she was getting ready to read her book.  You two were initially excited, however, hunger pains set in and you, Bodhi were out of control (it's rare that you act poorly in public).  Buddha, you sat on your Mommy's lap listening and looking at the pictures in the book, occasionally asking Mommy a question (quite loudly) about the story ha/ha!  You were too cute.

After listening to our story (Bodhi, Daddy took you outside since you were being a major fuss butt) we headed to a restaurant to get some dinner.  We had some delicious sandwiches, though Mommy and Daddy were a little shocked that three sandwiches set us back $27.00 dollars, YIKES!

We then spent the remainder of the evening walking around downtown, checking out all the local businesses.  We then headed home where Mommy and Daddy put two precious babes to bed :)

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!

This picture should have been Mommy's 1st clue that you were going to be fussy, Bodhi girl!

Jude Liam, you always open the door for everyone, you are such a sweet boy.  I believe this is the reason Bodhi started crying, she wanted to open the door, uggggh!
