Happy Early Birthday Dianna!

Friday, Friday!  Mommy, not having felt well and having worked extra this week, needed to get up-out of bed immediately to start cleaning for Aunt Dianna's Girl's Night Surprise birthday party.  However, that did not happen.  Mommy spent hours, yes hours, paying bills, and reviewing our finances.  Mommy is happy to report, YAY, it's all done.  Plus, another month closer to our goals :)  After spending most of the morning working on bills, Mommy spent the early afternoon picking up little secret messes you both managed to make while Momma and Daddy were distracted (Daddy thinking you were with me, and Mommy thinking you were with Daddy).  Daddy took you both on some birthday party missions, picking up snacks, a sign, beer etc... When you guys returned, Mommy had surprised Daddy with an early Father's Day present, a satellite radio subscription...and Daddy was stoked.  That fell through however :(  Turns out our wires for satelite radio appear to have been cut and Daddy couldn't get his signal, so Mommy had to call and cancel (after four attempts to "refresh" as they call it).

Daddy brought back several flowers (Daddy is addicted) for Mommy to plant.  So, rather than clean or get my reports done, Mommy planted flowers, with the help of you two.  Well, you guys kept me company but were more interested in making treats in the sandbox.  Mommy and Daddy have been paying close attention to you two when you both are playing alone contently....you guys have the funniest conversations ever!  Mommy and Daddy are amazed at how smart you two are, and your conversations are truly unbelievable.  You guys just talk and ask each other questions about everyday things..."Bodhi, are those storm clouds?"  "No Bubby, we don't want it to storm we won't be allowed to play outside if it rains." "They'll blow over."  AND "Bubby, did you put milk and sugar in Mommy's coffee, she likes milk and sugar in it in the mornings," etc...  You two are so precious!

After some outside time, Mommy got you both down for a nap (after making you two lunch) and then Mommy started to work on work but fell asleep.  Yep, Mommy woke up with you, Buddha cuddled up next to me.  Mommy jumped up and had just enough time to take a shower, but not do much of anything else.  Mommy threw on clothes (and later discovered I had a hole in the butt of my pants ugggh) and made it to my case management appointment with a young girl here in Kokomo. Mommy spent a little over an hour with her, in which she called me a "nut ball" and a "weirdo" on several occasions ha/ha!

Anyway, Mommy rushed home and started cleaning for Aunt Dianna's party.  You two were entertained by Daddy, who made you a quick dinner and set up a big pillow/blanket slumber party pit on the floor of your room, Bodhi.  Mommy laid out Dianna's cake, snacks, plates, drinks, hung banners and flags, and then Mommy's and Dianna's girlfriend guests arrived :).  Aunt Ti finally joined us, and it was truly an enjoyable evening (we make it a point to get-together at least once a month) but this was the first get-together in which we were celebrating one of us.  We celebrated Dianna's birthday, a truly remarkable woman and mother, and we all enjoyed each other's company, including Baby Rowan. Rowan refused to go to sleep, so Dianna  brought her along  (but Mommy will never tell you two that).  Happy Birthday Dianna, you super Momma!

Tomorrow is also a big day!  We are finally making a trip to Bloomington and to Vincennes to see Grandma Betty and all your Aunties.  You two have been hounding Mommy and Daddy to plan a trip, well we finally did, YAY!
