Not-A-Wellness-Wednesday

At Daddy’s work (at the college) there is a weekly program called “Wellness Wednesday” designed to promote awareness about “wellness,” encouraging employees to pay attention to and practice good health.
Today in our home was not a wellness Wednesday—Mommy and Daddy, especially, continue to be sick and are struggling to keep up work at home and at work—ugh!

Daddy had two program facilitations today, filling in for an ailing and absent colleague, at the domestic violence program. In between the two, Daddy took you, Ms. Bodhi, to our orthopedic surgeon appointment where Dr. Tanko gave you some good news you have been hoping for---you no longer have to wear your cast, your broken arm is healed! Dr. Tanko and his staff are genuinely nice people, his administrative and nurse staff all complimented you on how beautiful a little girl you are especially complimenting your beautiful curly hair and your lovely yellow sun-dressJ.

After our doctor appointment, Daddy took you to join your brother at Aunt Diana’s (Mommy dropped your brother there on her way to work), Aunt Diana agreed to watch the two of you for us while Daddy worked. It was clear that Aunt Diana had some fun in store for both of you, as she had the water hose on for you and her children to playJ.

After work, Daddy went back to Aunt Diana’s to pick you two up and head home, where Daddy was so sick and exhausted we all just sat and watched a movie Aunt Diana sent home for the two of you to watch, and shortly after starting the film, both of you were sound asleep—and Daddy happily joined you.
Actually, Daddy carried you to bed Bodhi, and then Daddy and you, Jude Liam, lay on the study floor watching TV where we both fell asleep until Mommy awakened Daddy after she returned home from work after 9:30 p.m. Daddy thinks (too tired to remember) that Mommy and Daddy ate a very late dinner and then both gave up the fight and went straight to bed.

Fortunately, both of you seem to be getting better, though Mommy and Daddy neither show any sign of being on the mend—bad germsL.

Someday, when the two of you read this, you will perhaps say to yourselves, wow Daddy didn’t have much to say that day---when the truth is simply there was undoubtedly much to say, just too tired and sick to say it---accept that as an important, if perhaps mysteriously subtle, lesson on truth.

“Night, night.”

You ate and ate and ate...then you told Daddy that Aunt Dianna didn't feed you ha/ha!
