Mommy’s Partial Sick Day

Sure enough, last Friday I was supervising a visit between a mother and her daughter- whom were both hacking up a storm.  I felt a cough coming on the very next day…well, skip to five days later, I have no voice, and I’m sick as a dog.  Mommy called the doctor and she called some medication in for me, yep another sinus infection, uggggh!  Mommy has been in the vicious cycle of treating a sinus infection with antibiotics, and then treating a yeast infection caused from being on antibiotics.  It’s a never ending cycle! Mommy needs to get back in the habit of flushing my nose everyday again.

Anyway, after yesterday’s exhausting day, and after getting full blown sick with a fever, Mommy slept in this morning.  Mommy managed to get up with you guys, it’s just we didn’t have much fun.  Bodhi, Mommy got you ready to go to your doctor’s appointment for your arm, and Buddha, you stayed behind with Momma again.  We all had our fingers crossed for you Ms. Bodhi.  Good News!   Bodhi, you had additional x-rays taken, in which you screamed your head off, requiring Daddy to hold you, but the doctor thinks your arm isn’t going to require surgery.  He suggests you wearing the splint for the rest of the month and then checking back in to make sure everything healed correctly.  Now, had your brother broke his arm, the doctor would have had to put him in a hard cast, ha!

After naps, Mommy took a long nap with you, Jude, Mommy sent Daddy to get some food from the store.  Mommy felt like crap, but thankfully Daddy was happy to go to the store hee/hee  I think he was sick of not having munchies-Mommy doesn’t have to have munchies to survive so I put off grocery shopping as long as possible!!!  Buddha, you and Mommy got the grill going for when Daddy returned, and Bodhi, you continued to nap for a while longer.  Mommy planted a flower that Daddy had bought me for Mother’s Day week hee/hee (Daddy has brought home a plant or cut flowers everyday)!  J  Bodhi, you eventually awakened and immediately went into a panic.  You were yelling for Mommy and Daddy, meanwhile Buddha and I were yelling back through the window “It’s ok Bodhi, we’re coming!”  Both brother and I ran to get you, you were upset!  You quickly got over it and came outside and played for a while.

Mommy grilled steaks on the grill and fixed salads and baked potatoes too.  YUM!  Sean Franky was due over to pick up his table and switch out microwaves, so Mommy got Franky a plate ready too.  We all sat around the table and had a nice family steak dinner.  You two actually ate two helpings of your steak (you guys are not the biggest meat lovers).  After dinner, Franky and Mommy went and picked up Grandmoo’s truck and then delivered Franky’s table.  Once Mommy returned, I took care of the cats, cleaned up dinner dishes, and put you guys to bed.  Nighty night my sweet sweet babes!  Mommy and Daddy loves you to the moon and back!

PS  Momma didn't get any pictures :(
