Sunday At The Beach

Our Sunday morning was a typical family morning, but more laid back than the previous couple of Sundays.  Mommy worked to get things ready for our Monday morning because we had plans to go SWIMMING later today :)  YAY!  You two were super excited, so you both easily went down for an afternoon nap in anticipation of waking and hitting the Kokomo Beach.  Grandmoo said she wanted to go with us, so we were set to have some fun.

Once you two awakened, just before 3:30 p.m. as I had anticipated, Mommy got you both suited up and we headed to Grandmoo's.  Grandmoo was no where to be found.  Mommy drove back to our house and to Kokomo Beach in search for Grandmoo.  We couldn't find her so we decided to call Daddy and let him know to tell Grandmoo that we were already at the Beach if she showed up at our house.  The lady at the gate told us if we waited 6 minutes, until 4pm, we would get a discounted rate.  So we waited out front, waiting to see if Grandmoo was going to show up.  Once 4pm rolled around, Jude, you were jumping out of your skin to get inside and get in the pool.  So, we entered with the plan to swim for two full hours.  Grandmoo showed up minutes later.  She had to run some errands and was running late.  You two went nuts when you saw her!  We decided to all take a ride on the lazy river.  Jude, you rode with Momma and Bo, you went with Grandmoo.  We raced each other around the river. Bodhi, you were dying to get back into the pool so you and Grandmoo exited after a few laps.  The water was pretty cold so the lifeguards were not in the water once again.  Jude, Mommy had talked you into taking a few more laps.  Once we took our laps and were pulled out of the current, we headed over to the pool to meet up with Grandmoo and Bo once again.  It was at this time we were approached by three lifeguards, who informed us that we would be receiving a refund because they didn't tell us that they would be closing an hour early when we entered the pool.  Apparently the numbers were too low to remain open another hour :(  We shared the news with Grandmoo, who was informed that there was a possibility that they would close early, so she wouldn't be getting a refund :(  ugggh.

Bodhi, you went down the slide a few times, but you, Jude, climbed to the top and decided against it and climbed back down.  We continued to swim for another half hour and then it was time to pack it up :(  Buddha, you were so pissed.  You kept saying, "why Momma, go swimming pwwweeese!"  Mommy promised more fun outside the pool and so we all headed out.  We then went to Grandmoo's to assist her with washing Momma and Baby Kitty, ugggh!  Jude, you made the cats a nervous wreck.  Momma Kitty was very easy and we got through her bath without incident, but then came Baby Kitty and you, Jude kept coming into the room screaming and carrying on... Baby Kitty bit Grandmoo several times, clawed us both, and we're lucky our eyeballs were still in place when we finished!  Bodhi, you had fallen asleep on Grandmoo's couch, you were being a "fussy Bo Bo."  

After our cat bath adventures we went home to take Ms. Allie for a walk before Mommy had to get work done and things ready to go for in the morning.  Buddha, you and Daddy took a shower while Bodhi and I headed to our old house to freshin' it up for the scheduled showing Monday afternoon.  Bodhi, you loved visiting your old room and watching Mommy vacuum.  You ran around the house and when we were leaving you said bye bye to every room... this makes Mommy believe that we are going to get this house sold soon :)  Nighty night sweet babes!
