Good Morning my Baby Boy Buddha Sunshine! After about 4 1/2 hours of sleep (which is and always will be 4 and 1/2 hours too little for Mommy) Buddha, you woke as Mommy took the first step out of bed! Last Monday, both you and myself were very upset we didn't get to give each other morning sugars before I left for work. You expressed your disapproval to both Daddy and Aunt Ti, you wanted your Momma! Well, this morning, you were sure to get your morning lovin's before falling back to sleep. Luckily for Momma, Momma awakened on time and with everything ready to go, so I had plenty of time to rock you, kiss you, and hug you back to sleep before getting ready for work :) I know I felt better, and since you went back to sleep, I believe you were satisfied as well.
I know reading this you don't realize how long it takes Mommy to write these entries, hee/hee but tonight Mommy is distracted, I'm grudgingly watching the Republican Convention and listening to Chris Matthews commentary ha/ha... Mommy LOVES Chris Matthews! You always have to listen and pay careful attention to the "other side." I still have no answers as to what Romney stands for????
Anyway, Mommy tried talking Daddy into allowing me to have GiGi or Aunt Ti come pick the two of you up, rather than have Daddy drive... he wouldn't hear of it, even though I don't quite know if he was "all there" when speaking to him. Mommy and Sister Kelly have been deciding if Daddy can go to work and Sister Kelly, who works with Daddy, has been getting subs for Daddy in advance. Well, I told Daddy he wasn't going to work today... he literally hasn't moved from the couch for more than a half hour, but of course he didn't listen. Mommy text Aunt Ti to ask that she be ready to get you two out of the car... even though I know I didn't need to, Aunt Ti is one of the most considerate and thoughtful people, she would have already been waiting... but it was more for my peace of mind! Daddy then was driving to work when he called Sister Kelly to tell her he couldn't make it and that he was going home... duhhhh, we already knew he wouldn't be able to do it. Had it covered Daddy... Thank you Sister Kelly! BTW, Sister Kelly has several Daddy recordings of him being a crazy old man ha/ha! She has shared these with co-workers as a comedic break from their hectic day HA/HA!
Anyway, Mommy drove to Lafayette only to have her clients cancel their visits with their children... I can't even tell you how much this upsets me. I am just going to say this, with 100% certainty, come hell or high water, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING would keep me from seeing the two of you, but maybe that is why their children were removed from their care to begin with. I am very sympathetic and I truly understand shit happens, people make mistakes, and everyone deserves some type of chance to change or make right with their situation, but Mommy's career has been a growing area of frustration lately! I just can't understand it, it's absolutely driving me crazy. Maybe I'll just ask them, my blunt straight forward approach has enjoyed success with families in the past, maybe I'll gain some insight and answers so I won't drive myself crazy. We'll see!
So, Mommy did some work at the Lafayette office, text Aunt Ti to see what time she preferred me to pick you guys up, and enjoyed some Mommy time shopping. Daddy was at home sleeping, so Brother Aaron was sent over to our house by Sister Kelly to take care of our hounds (which I had no clue Sister Kelly had arranged) Thank you Sister Kelly!! Aunt Ti reported that you both were having a blast and didn't want to go home. YAY! I love that you two have been diggin' your Aunt Ti time!
Mommy worked on your wall hangings Bo, when Grandmoo came over. She had brought Daddy one of his medications, thinking it was the new antibiotic we were waiting for his doctor to call in, but it wasn't :( Daddy thinks he has Pneumonia, he has a horrible cough, and it makes sense that he does since he hasn't been up and moving... working his lungs out as his doctor instructed him to. Anyway, Grandmoo and Mommy went through fabrics, Grandmoo was searching for a fabric to cover her footstool, and Mommy showed her all my recent "Bodhi room" projects :) Grandmoo loves your room Bo Bo girl :) Grandpa showed up a little while later. He was disappointed that the two of you weren't home.
Mommy left Daddy on the couch sleeping, and Grandpa talking to Grandmoo as she fed the kitties for Momma, and I drove to retrieve you two. You both were excited to see me, which makes me oh so happy. On our way home, we drove with all the windows down, Bob Dylan blaring, and you two sang and danced. We really had a nice drive home. Mommy made a cd years ago, and well "Hey Jude," by the Beatles also played hee/hee and Bodhi you went nuts. You kept saying, "Bubby it's your song." Bodhi, you quickly picked up on the words and were singing it to Buddha. You were so adorable. Buddha, you were not amused. Mommy had your car seat facing backwards... Mommy had turned it around for work to transport a 10 month old, and well your legs were jammed against the seat and you were so uncomfortable, poor guy. I guess you are legally supposed to be facing backwards until the age of two, despite meeting the weight requirement to face forward. Dr. Zentz told Mommy to face you forward because you are huge for your age. After your uncomfortable drive home, Mommy turned your seat back around.
Mommy got you both down for night night time, and then took Ms. Allie for a walk. Sweet dreams my sweet babes.

Buddha, you are also incredibly smart, but Mommy knows you are going to be some type of Pro ball player!!! You are obsessed with sports, balls, and physical activity |
