Monday Monday, Can't Trust That Day

To say today started out recklessly, would be a complete understatement!  Mommy's alarm was supposed to sound at 6:00 a.m., Mommy's internal clock awakened Mommy only to discover it was 7:30 a.m.  Mommy, waited too late last night to set the alarm, and I mistakenly set it for 6:00 p.m., ugggh!  I was supposed to be leaving the house to take you two to GiGi's and Grandmoo's, not just waking up :(  Mommy was flustered to say the least, and so I made a few phone calls and jumped in the shower, a shower was non-negotiable for certain.  Mommy was on her way out with you, Jude, when Mommy received a phone call stating that Mommy's morning visit in Lafayette had been cancelled.  Mommy could breath again.  My next scheduled visit wasn't until 1pm, so I had some time to regain my composure, or did I?  Daddy called Grandmoo and asked that she pass a message to me to come get Bodhi and take her to GiGi's so he wouldn't be late.  Mommy then received a phone call stating that Mommy's morning visit was back on track... now Mommy was really behind.  Bodhi, you got off to GiGi's via Daddy, and so Mommy hit the road.  Mommy hates to admit, but I drove 80 all the way to Lafayette, taking all the back roads and secret passages that I had learned when computing for three years while employed with DCS (Department of Child Services).  Mommy ended up being 15 minutes late, but it really put us behind because the transporter couldn't leave to pick up the kids until I arrived at the facility.  Mommy ended up extending the visit to make up the time.  Mommy's afternoon appointment then cancelled, UGGH!  Mondays!

Mommy called GiGi and Grandmoo on my way home to let them know that I would be off earlier than expected, but neither of them wanted to give you two up.  They both were able to get you both down for a nap, so Mommy went home to work on organizing work files.  I too fell asleep though.  I was awakened by Grandmoo and you, Buddha, hollering, "Momma, where are you?"  Grandmoo decided not to make you dinner, Buddha.  You hardly ate any of the food she made you for breakfast and lunch, so Grandmoo said it was Mommy's turn try.  You were a bit of a cranky butt, so Mommy knew you were hungry.  I started making dinner for you, and Grandmoo played with you and the hounds outside for a while longer.  Bodhi, you of course ate dinner with GiGi and Gi-Pa, you LOVE to eat GiGi's home cooking.  Mommy called to tell GiGi that your brother and I would be picking you up shortly.  Buddha, you went with me to the recycle bin, by Grandmoo's to pick up some extra milk she wanted to get rid of and then took it back home,  and then to GiGi's to retrieve your sister.  Bodhi, you were so excited to show Mommy your treasures you had put in one of GiGi's and Gi-Pa's decorative boxes, but when you opened it your treasures were gone :(  GiGi about died.  She had thrown your treasures away while you were sleeping, knowing very well when she was doing so, she probably shouldn't.  GiGi felt so horrible.  While there, you and your brother had such an adorable happy reunion with one another.  You both kept giving each other hugs and kisses.  We all went nuts and it only encouraged you two to do it more :)  After visiting and packing Bodhi's belongings away, we were off to Maryann's, your older sibling's mother.  We had to drop off her monthly check to her, and when we arrived, she gave you both a mini Tupperware container.  You both went nuts.  You would have thought she gave you a bag of candy ha/ha  :)  Bodhi, you said as we were pulling away, "Ohhhh that was so nice."  Ha/Ha!  You are so funny, and you have even became more of a hoot since turning 3!!!

When we arrived home, you, Bodhi wanted to go inside with Daddy.  Mommy got the carriage out and the plan was for you, Buddha to accompany Mommy and Ms. Allie for a nice long late evening walk.  Bodhi, you decided last minute you were going to go too.  Bodhi, you turned into a major fuss butt, but then Mommy would talk you through it and you'd cheer up.  You are not only funny, but you have become so emotional too, wheeeew!

Once back home again, Mommy tucked you both in bed. Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

Buddha happy to be with his BFF, Grandmoo! :)
