Bodhi, last night you ended up waking back up an hour after going to bed, only to puke all over the place. You poor little gypsy princess :( Mommy and Daddy were frantically putting a treatment plan together, sprite, Pepto for kids, some Karo syrup to help you poo, everything we tried came back up :(. Mommy held you, as you requested, and then I rubbed your back for about a half hour. When I thought you were feeling better and a sleep, you would come back into Mommy's and Daddy's room minutes later. This time you wanted Daddy to take you downstairs to have a slumber party on the couch. You and Daddy passed out, as Mommy kept checking on you both until I went to bed at 3am. Bodhi, despite being sick, you were up early as usual. Daddy agreed to let Mommy catch an extra hour of sleep before I had to clean our Leeds house from top to bottom for the scheduled open house at 2pm (which was a major fail btw). Mommy has been non-stop cleaning the last three days :(
Daddy stayed behind with the two of you, and Bodhi, you said you were feeling better, however you came down with a major case of diarrhea, which lasted the entire day today :( It was at this time Daddy got real sick... his head was pounding, his tooth killing him, and his back achy as usual. Mommy came home after a major cleaning session (ugggh) and after burying a St. Joseph in the front yard, and sat and comforted you, Bodhi. Buddha, you were already down for your nap, which didn't last long. While Mommy was in the shower, Bodhi decided that she was going to wake you up (again ugggh).
After you two awakened, Daddy wanted us all to get out of the house, and boy was it humid. Mommy needed a second shower (yeah as if) minutes after going back outside. We stopped by to talk to our Realtor about our game plan, and then we were off, taking turns running into our favorite Antique shops. You two wanted ice cream, and Bodhi, you didn't eat lunch so we wanted to get something down you. So, you two ate ice cream while Daddy checked on Mommy's table at the antique shop, and while Daddy ran into another store. Bodhi, you had a potty attack while Daddy was inside, Daddy didn't have his phone, so Mommy left him bahahaha. There was no time for taking you two out of car seats, finding him, and then packing you both back in the car! Mommy decided to stop the ball park, what a perfect spot for your first outside potty experience. Mommy taught you the "concert" trick. We opened the car door, Mommy stood to one side, and you sat on the foot ledge of the car and let it flow ha/ha! Mommy has mastered this move, you'll soon pick-up on Mommy's bathroom phobias! We then went back to retrieve Daddy (minutes later) and well, he was walking down the sidewalk! Poor Daddy! He was trying desperately to distract himself from his pains, and there he was, walking in the horrible humid heat confused as to what had happened.
We then headed home, but Mommy had to grab our old house keys so that I could run over and turn the AC off, and then I conducted a drop. When I returned home, Daddy received a call from his dentist (Daddy has his him on call) and he had called Daddy in an antibiotic and pain med at the 24 hour CVS. When he returned, he passed out and Mommy took over. Bodhi, you fell asleep on the couch, but woke up when Mommy started talking about dinner. You requested fried chicken, so Mommy and Buddha went and picked up some fast chicken at KFC (yuuuucko!)! Mommy didn't have any chicken thawed out, and I certainly wasn't going to go buy more when we have a ton, plus, it would have taken forever to cook, so KFC was our only "quick" option. After dinner, Mommy took you both outside to play. We don't do well unless we have some outside time each day, even if sick, hot and sticky. Our neighbor behind us gave us some tomatoes from his garden, ours aren't ripe yet :( This made Daddy super happy since he eats at least three tomatoes a day, no joke!
After play time, Mommy threw you both in the bath and then off to bed. Bodhi, you got back up and helped Mommy put the cats away, and take out the trash. Then you suckered Mommy into a little sweet treat before heading back to bed. Of course, a few minutes later, per our usual routine, you were up yet again, this time requesting another hug and kiss :) Then you wanted to see what Mommy was working on in Mommy's craft room (the walls of course) but then, finally, you were tucked in for the night. It's now 1am, and Mommy has only managed to do the laundry, dishes, and this blog ugggh! I was so hoping to get some creative time, maybe tomorrow, or maybe I'll catch a second wind with a second cup of green tea. Nighty night my sweet baby dolls!
PS Mommy has decided to take on some Lafayette cases, and that money is going to be put back to get Daddy's teeth fixed. We keep diverting from what's important, and that's most certainly Daddy's health. He'll gripe and try to come up with an excuse not to spend the money on him, but this is ridiculous, Daddy's teeth need to be gone and some permanently affixed fake ones need to be bought :)
Our nightly ritual... - Nighty night, I love you, I love you more, I love you to the moon and back, sweet dreams, don't let the bed bugs bite, see you in the morning, I love you! (attempt #1) |
"Mommarazzi, you're so crazzzzy!" |
Attempt #2... |
Attempt #3 :) |
"Nighty night Bodhi!" |
See, Ms. Allie has the right idea!!! |
