Sick Little Bodhi Girl

Poor Baby Bo!  Bodhi, though you appeared and acted as though you had made a complete recovery from whatever had your belly hurting, this morning you were back to feeling ill! :(  You ended up sleeping on the couch all morning, into your nap time, and then into the evening hours.  My poor little girl!

Today was the day Mommy had arranged with our very kind neighbor, Ms. Susan, to follow her to her daughter's home in Indy to pick up a truck load of slate!  Mommy has been super excited about this day for a couple of weeks now.  Mommy has always wanted slate pathways and patios, but Mommy and Daddy have never had any luck finding any, not to mention it's super expensive.  We literally left with a truck-full and the best part of the deal was that it was FREE!  YAY!  Mommy and Daddy bought Terrie, Ms. Susan's daughter, a Starbucks gift card to show our appreciation for the thousands of dollars of slate she gave us. It was no picnic loading and unloading, I assure you.  It didn't help that it was HoT HoT HoT,
at 103!!  Lucky for us, a storm was coming in which cooled things down a bit, not a lot, but enough to make the work tolerable.

Bodhi, you stayed behind with GiGi and Gi-Pa.  They took excellent care of you, waiting on you and your every need hee/hee.  Buddha, you were off to Grandmoo's house, and you were absolutely thrilled to break away from your sick sister, and run around Grandmoo's like a mad man!

Once Mommy and Daddy returned, unloaded the truck, and cleaned out the truck (Gi-Pa's truck), Mommy then went to pick you both up while Daddy took a shower and relaxed.  Bodhi, you didn't eat any dinner at GiGi's (which goes to show just how sick you were... you LOVE GiGi's dinners), you just wanted to get home to get to bed.

Buddha, you too were totally exhausted and ready for bed.  Mommy got you both tucked in, you, Bodhi, on the couch with Daddy, and you, Jude, in your own comfy bed.

Mommy can't remember anything else from today, Daddy had said he was going to write this entry so Mommy cleaned the house before retiring to bed, and Mommy always erases her mental notes in order to keep up with the next day.  Well, Daddy didn't write it and Mommy can't remember, ugggh!

Sweet dreams my sweet babes, and feel better my little moonbeam!

PS Mommy will take pictures of our slate pile Friday :)  It's unbelievable!

You mostly slept at GiGi's but once your medicine kicked back in, you felt well enough to brush your teeth :)

"I feel a little better GiGi!"

Bodhi, you also felt "well" enough to help GiGi clean her tables (one of your favorite playtime activities, spraying pledge ha/ha and not in Gi-Pa's armpit) but you only sprayed for a few minutes before you said to GiGi, "GiGi, it's too heavy.  I'm exhausted and need to go back to bed."  Bless your little heart!
