Saturday??? This was yesterday hee/hee and Mommy can't remember a dang thing! Ok, Daddy left for work, and so our usual morning routine followed. Bodhi, you had been up early with Daddy and fell back asleep on the couch. Buddha, you always wake up the minute Daddy pulls down the driveway. So, Mommy got you up and you snuggled with Mommy for a few minutes and up came Bo. Bodhi, you seemed much better this morning :) bless your heart. You did have an accident on the couch during your slumber party with Daddy last night though :( More of this story later. Anyway, Mommy made you two Oatmeal for breakfast, you two hadn't had oatmeal in a long time. You both gobbled it down! Mommy then got you both dressed and we headed down the road to the Seiberling Mansion. Our neighborhood, Old Silk Stocking Neighborhood, was having a community garage sale, both at the mansion and at individual houses. Bodhi, you begged Mommy to take you inside, but since we purchased four Kokomo bricks, and gathered up a ton of free goodies, we first had to take everything home. Bodhi, you helped Mommy by carrying a light bag :) By this time Daddy was arriving home from work. He wheeled out the carriage and you two jumped in. Our neighbor Autumn had asked to go with us, so she joined us on our garage sale adventure. As promised, Mommy took you inside the Seiberling. You are definitely my daughter, you were "oooh'ing and awwwwing" like crazy, you had never seen the inside of the mansion. We were quickly escorted out though ha/ha we weren't supposed to be inside, it just so happened that a woman that works at the mansion was allowing a "garage sale'r" use the bathroom hee/hee We walked in after them, not realizing that it was closed to the public. Oh well! You got to see inside and we didn't have to pay for a tour :)-
After our quick "tour," we continued our garage sale adventure. We bought a $5.00 dollar bookshelf for your closet, Bodhi, but we didn't find anything else. Daddy had wanted to go to the Farmer's Market, but Mommy had to get ready for an appointment, so he took you two (who were major fuss butts by this time) down to the market. Mommy took a shower, and when you two returned, Mommy entertained the two of you while Daddy made you lunch. Mommy didn't have time for lunch, but after you two ate, Mommy got you both tucked into bed before leaving.
After Mommy's appointment, and after Mommy went to work for about an hour, Mommy returned home and started working on all of our dining room chairs that we have collected. Mommy was told her $100 harvest/French 1920's table would be done either today or Sunday, plus, Daddy has been on Mommy to get our garage cleaned out, and well, eight chairs take up a lot of room. When you two awakened, Daddy took you two to the grocery store so that Mommy could continue to work on the chairs. Mommy first fed you dinner so you two wouldn't fuss, but that didn't work. You two always fuss with Daddy, Mommy has you both in check with the count of 1, sometimes 2, or even just a look. Daddy never caught on to establishing boundaries with you two, and now that you two are both in your "independent stage" he has to really suffer through the pains of having spoiled you two...which, makes for a not so fun/always yelling Daddy and two, always fussing while with Daddy, babies! Plus, you add in Daddy's pain factor with his back and teeth... lets just say Mommy and Daddy are not in a happy place right now and weekends aren't the greatest. Mommy wants to put you ALL in a time-out when you two spend time alone with Daddy on the weekends!!! So, of course after your horribly fussy grocery trip, Mommy had to sit you, Bodhi, down and talk to you about how good behavior is rewarded, and how fussy temper tantrum behavior is not. Daddy then wanted to run to Meijers to get a protector sheet for our couch, for when you, Bodhi, have overnight slumber parties with Daddy our couch is protected. After our talk, your trip together went much better. You both came back with doughnuts :) Back to the couch. Daddy kept saying our room smelled like potty, he said he cleaned it, but it was still soaked with urine. Mommy took all the cushion covers off the couch so that if the urine soaked cushion didn't wash well, we at least had four cushions that all looked the same, problem solved.
Mommy continued to work on the dining room chairs while you two were on your adventure and once you returned and enjoyed your messy blue and green iced doughnuts, Mommy got you two cleaned up and settled in with Daddy before going back outside to work on the chairs. When Mommy finally made it back inside, at 10:30 p.m., Jude you were asleep :( Mommy puts you to sleep so that made Mommy sad, and Bo, you were nestled in on one of the couches fast alseep.
Sweet dreams my sweet babes! You two do adore your Daddy, and you want to be with him ALL the time, so hopefully he can get his back fixed here soon, and hopefully some consistent boundaries start being made, and then we'll be back to a peaceful loving home!!! Fingers crossed!!!

Mr. Arlo the beast! He always waits for Mommy to go upstairs and then he follows, just like Ms. Allie! :) |

Poor aching Daddy! |

Mommy got all 8 chairs done! Oh so Shabby fabulous! |

The neighbors are no longer surprised when Mommy gets something all nice and freshly painted, only to pull out the sander ha/ha I do have to recover to cushions for the end seats though. Bodhi, you claimed the "pink seat" :) I thought for sure you would have picked one of the blue seats. You also designated the white seat next to yours, "Mommy's seat" :)

Jude Man, sorry Mommy didn't get a picture of you today... I don't dare go in your room after you have fallen asleep hee/hee you'd end up in bed with Mommy!
