I Scream You Scream We All Scream For Ice Cream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!! Grandpa Kurt came over this evening to deliver on his promise to make you babies milkshakes (and of course we all got in on the actionJ). So, we all had a fresh, creamy strawberry milkshake (and a peanut butter one for himself J) and there were lots of “mmmms” going around and some impressive milkshake moustache faces where normally there would just be a moonbeam and some sunshineJ. We insisted that Grandpa Kurt make this a weekly adventure, he adores both of you and he needs to spend regular time visiting for your benefit and his (and oursJ)! He had stopped by earlier in the day and agreed to monitor the two of you swimming while Mommy had a rare opportunity for a unhindered shower. He said he would be back later with the makings for some homemade Grandpa-style milkshakes and sure enough he made believers of all of usJ!

Our day began with an early rise for Daddy and Ms. Moonbeam, with our conventional breakfast of toast and butter and juice (and coffee-not for babiesJ) and some early morning news interspersed with Nick Jr., some work on the computer and some drawing pictures in the library. Daddy thought he was doing the right thing by putting on a pull-up on little Ms. Moonbeam rather than go upstairs searching for her little girl panties and risk awakening Buddha, but later Mommy was madder than a hornet at Daddy for that mis-stepL.
Daddy was off to work for a long day, and you two had a Mommy day filled with play and more play, followed by a long evening walk.   She also continued to labor on getting our house in order in anticipation of a visit from Aunt Chris and Uncle Barry this weekend; Daddy intends to get the library in order by tomorrow afternoon to help Mommy with the cause.

Later in the evening, the two of you had another of your favorite surprises when Grandmoo came over to leave some chocolate milk and Pepsi in our refrigerator in case Aunt Chris and Uncle Barry want something to drink while visiting—here is a lesson for the two of you which Daddy will more thoroughly explain when you are both older; Grandmoo and Mommy (gee, I wonder where she gets it) are two of the most stubborn people Daddy has ever known (and loved), and now of course we have a third most stubborn to add to the count in the way of young Mister Sunshine (gee, I wonder where he gets it). It is admittedly true that you look like your Daddy and walk like your Daddy (J) and thank goodness for the most part act like your Daddy, little Miss MoonbeamJ. So, of course while Grandmoo was here the two of you would not leave her side, so she entertained you both while Mommy went back to work for a while, until you both wore her out J and she had to get home to put up her groceries.

It is such a magical joy to watch the two of you so surrounded by love by your family---you and we are blessed beyond mere words—and the Beatles were right, “love, love, love.”

“One, two, three, four”…off to bed, you precious monkeys—sweet dreams Gypsy Princess and Viking Prince, “love, love, love…..”
