A Super Fun Monday

Bodhi, you seem to have made a full recovery from whatever it was that had your belly upset.  Mommy, however, woke up extremely late (which means you Buddha, did as well) with a fever.  Bodhi, you had your morning daughter/father time as usual, and you and Daddy become concerned when 10am rolled around and Mommy and Buddha were still asleep.  Bodhi, you came to Mommy's bedside, probably with some prompting from Daddy ha/ha and said, "Mommy you going to get up?"  Mommy sprung out of bed when I glanced over at the clock and noticed how late it was.  Buddha, you instinctively woke up minutes later :) The rush was on, despite Mommy's fever.  Today, was our first play date with Mommy's long time college friend, Angela Bokan, and her two kids, Dominic (close to your age Juders) and Kaitlyn (10 years old).  Mommy had some toys and clothes for Aunt Ang and she in turn took us to lunch.  Kaitlyn decided that we were all going to dine at McDonalds hee/hee  So, Mommy got you and your brother dressed, and then Mommy hopped in the shower.  Aunt Ang loved our house, and you two love Kaitlyn and Dominic :)  Bodhi, you instantly friend-ed Kaitlyn, and even made her hold your hand (this is not normal for you Bo).  You are very friendly with other kids, but it usually takes you some time to warm up to them before you make them hold your hand ha/ha

When we arrived at McDonalds, Dominic was very unhappy with the plans to eat before playing in the Play Place, so he and Kaityln went to play to avoid a temper tantrum.  You two were fine with Mommy's plan for you two to eat and then play.  Bodhi, you actually ate some of your cheeseburger, but you of course started with your apples :)  Jude man, you had no problems eating, you unfortunately have a taste for french fries and cheeseburgers like your Momma!  You all played and played, that is until some older kids were getting a little out of hand.  Aunt Ang finally called it quits (Dominic, so cute, but so tiny) was destined to get ran over by the older kids.  Mommy never worries about you two, you two are tough big-little brutes ha/ha  So we were then off, heading home to play some more.  It was so incredibly hot, we all took turns cooling in the cat house :)  It was well past nap time, so Aunt Ang headed home.  You two loved spending time with Aunt Ang, Kaitlyn, and Dominic, so much so Aunt Ang and Mommy have plans to make this a regular play date... well, as much as we can coordinate our schedules.  The remainder of the day was spent with questions from you, Bodhi, "Where is Kaitlyn Mommy?"

After naps, Mommy put you both in your swim suits and we headed back out to the heat.  You two played for about four hours outdoors, including dinner at your picnic table.  Autumn made her appearance and you, Bodhi, went nuts.  Autumn and her little monster brother, Chase, came over and went swimming with you both.  Autumn's Mommy also came and sat with Mommy while you two played.  Daddy arrived home and immediately went to sleep on the couch.  His teeth are really bothering him.  About an hour after Daddy arrived home, we headed inside.  Mommy made you, Bodhi, a spot on the couch to have a slumber party with your Daddio, and Jude man, you were ready for bed but Daddy kept you up while Mommy went to work (you can't go to bed without your Momma!).  Mommy made a drop for work and then picked Daddy up some soup, as he had requested.  Once home, Mommy tucked your little booty Buddha bum in bed.

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  Today was a super fun Monday!! YAY!
