Oh Shit Allie!

This morning Mommy awakened to a one hand/one hook lumberjack hanging above my head outside of our second story window!  Mommy totally forgot today was the day our front pine tree was scheduled to come down :(  It's probably been here since the house was built, and that makes Mommy sad, but it was in bad shape and a hazard.   Mommy was thinking about all the people that have probably lived here that awakened each morning to see it's branches outside the window :(

Ms. Allie and I watched as the guys chopped down the tree branch by branch.  Juders, you were next to awaken, well, Daddy was awake working on his work, but you and Bodhi slept through most of sawing.  Mommy got you dressed, Bodhi was up by the time I got you all fixed up.  Mommy took you two, Ms. Allie, and Mr. Arlo out on the porch to watch the guys remove the root of the tree.  You both watched in amazement.  When the guys finished, the one-handed lumberjack walked up to the porch to give Mommy the bill, when Ms. Allie nipped the nice lumberjack in his only good hand, uggggh!  "Shit Allie!"   The guy appeared to be in shock but snapped out of it when I explained we just adopted Ms. Allie from the Humane Society and she hadn't shown any aggression toward anyone.  He said, "she feels at home, she's now protective of you all."  Shit, shit, shit, Allie!  Mommy paid the man and ran to tell Daddy.  Daddy quickly went into action, no he didn't pay the guy off, but he called the office to report what a nice job the guys did... which they did!  You can't tell there was ever a tree in the spot, and the yard was spotless.  The guys were really nice too.  It's a good thing the guy Ms. Allie bit was nice, and obviously a tough guy... given that he chops down trees with one hand, plus, I think Ms. Allie only nipped him, otherwise Ms. Allie would probably be a goner!:(

So, after our eventful morning, Mommy took you two outside (out back) to play.  We quickly decided that we needed to fill the baby pool since it was so stinkin' hot!  You two played in the pool, made your slides into hillbilly water slides, and watered plants.  Mommy spray painted your chair blue, Bodhi.  Just as you had requested :)  Mommy finished up several small spray painting projects, watered all the flowers, cleaned out the cat house, scooped the morning poop, and played with you two, pretty much in that order :)  You two played so long and hard, you both were asking to go in by noon ha/ha for the record, that NEVER happens.  While eating lunch, GiGi called.  She said she had been calling all morning, but we were outside.  She asked if you two could come over after your naps.  Bodhi you yelled "YEAH!"  Juders, you did your adorable "uhhhh huh!"  After a 2 and 1/2 hour nap, you both were saying "bye bye, GiGi's?"  GiGi came and got you both, and well Ms. Allie wanted to go bye bye too.  She jumped in the car and refused to get out.  Mommy thinks she thought Mommy was going to leave her ha/ha.  Ms. Allie DOES NOT leave Mommy's side.

Mommy got busy cleaning our dirty house.  Mommy's kitchen cabinet project (which is done by the way) took every spare minute of Mommy's time.  Mommy is happy to report our house is spotless, well, beside Mommy's and Daddy's room which is jam packed with craft room supplies, but otherwise, clean :)  You two had a blast at GiGi's!  Daddy picked you two up while Mommy went to work   Daddy put in Rio for you both two watch.  You two were chanting "Rio Rio Rio!"  When Mommy returned home I changed your diapers and got you both tucked into bed.  :)  You both were so tired!

PS Mommy didn't get the critter photo shoot done today :(
