Friday Fun, Fun, Fun

Friday was an especially fun day for Sunshine and Moonbeam, thanks to Mommy. Daddy was up and at ‘em early and off to school, though he was able to get home by noon to try to get some work done to free up time for our special weekend ahead. Daddy learned Mommy had taken you two, Mister Stinkerbutt and Ms. Stinkerbell, to drive your jeep around the neighborhood. You drove on the sidewalk around our house and even drove over to the Seiberling Mansion (Daddy can’t wait to see the pictures of you guys with Allie--who was a nervous wreck over your driving--cruising around the Old Silk Stocking Neighborhood in your updated Model TJ. Buddha, you also finished your stepping stone with your hand-print so we can put it along with your sister’s in our gardenJ. The both had an absolute blast!!!

After lunch and naptime, the two of you had the added treat of going over to stay with Grandmoo and GiGi, while Mommy went to work. The two of you constantly plead to go see Grandmoo and GiGi and GiPa, and Mommy and Daddy want you both to be with them as much as they can stand J, ‘cause you both come away with how incredibly loved you are and special you are—Mommy and Daddy both believe the more love you are exposed to among family and friends the more love you will bring to the world and the more incredibly intelligent you both will continue to be as you grow in life. So, on this particular day Daddy and Bodhi made a special run to accomplish some errands (drop off more donations at the Rescue Mission, drop off “re-cylables,” take some clothes to GiGi, and take some clothes to Grandmoo) while Buddha you were still napping, and when we stopped at GiGi’s house she wanted you to stay with her, Bodhi—that, of course, was a perfect storm, so to speak, as you of course wanted to stay as wellJ. It is so much fun to see how the two of you get so excited to see Grandmoo and GiGi and GiPa!!! So, Bodhi you got to stay with GiGi and GiPa and have fun and dinner with them. By the time Daddy went on to drop off the delivery at Grandmoo’s there was little time to talk because Daddy had to be home by 4:45 p.m. and Daddy explained that to MooMoo and told her I would be home with Buddha while Mommy worked, and MooMoo said to bring you over to see her, Buddha.

When Daddy got home and explained to Mommy what had happened with you, Bodhi, and told her that MooMoo said to bring Buddha over, Mommy just smiled—she knows the two of you are blessed to have Grandmoo and GiGi and GiPa to care for you and make such special contributions to your lives! So, Mommy made off to work and Daddy spent some time with you, Buddha, and then asked if you wanted to go visit Grandmoo and you of course were super excited about that! So Daddy took you over to see Grandmoo and when I knocked at the door, she said “come in” and when we opened her door we discovered she had placed toys out by the front door part of her living room and a fire truck had its siren going off (you love sirens, Jude LiamJ) and I wish I would have had a camera to catch the look on your face as you walked around the toys slowly and deliberately looking for Grandmoo and when you saw her hiding in another room, you shrieked with joy and ran to her exclaiming “Grandmoo, Grandmoo”JJJ!!! No wonder the two of you are so crazy about Grandmoo and GiGi and GiPa.

Grandmoo explained she would call GiGi and ask her to come by and pick her and you up, Buddha, and later bring you home with your sister. So Daddy went home, and made dinner for Mommy and Daddy and had a pleasant surprise visit from Sean Franky and Ariel. They both were going to go bowling, but Daddy insisted they stay and have dinner (especially since Ariel loves cabbage rolls like Mommy and Daddy, even though Sean Franky doesn’tJ--Sean Franky is a very picky eater—which he didn’t get from DaddyJ--and Daddy told Ariel she has good taste in food, if questionable taste in boyfriendJ). So Mommy, got home after 7:00 p.m., we enjoyed dinner together and them Sean Franky and Ariel headed off to go bowling.

After dinner, Grandmoo and GiGi and GiPa brought the two of you home for the evening. When they were getting ready to leave, GiPa rushed into the living room to get a goodbye kiss from you Bodhi, and as he was hurriedly leaning over to get a kiss, Allie snipped at his hand—Mommy and Daddy apologized to GiPa and we know we have to work on this—Allie has definitely showed signs of protective aggression in “defense” of Mommy and especially you babies—Daddy thinks Allie believes the two of you are her babies. This, the two of you will grow to better understand someday, is a mixed-blessing.

Hey, long fun, fun, fun Friday…and now you know what time it is---one, two, three, four who let the monkeys on the floor—“night, night!!!”
