Daddy boiled some eggs and started the coffee while Mommy fried some bacon and poured you two some juice. You both told Daddy "Happy Daddy's Day!" :) You two are so cute. Mommy had Daddy call Aunt Debbie to find out how cousin Abby's baby shower went and how she made out. Aunt Debbie reported that Abby had a wonderful shower and received tons of gifts, YAY!
After breakfast Mommy suggested that we all take a family walk. Mr. Arlo is food aggressive so Mommy never leaves his food out. He gets fed once a day, at noon, and that is it. However, yesterday after bathing both Ms. Allie and Mr. Arlo, Mommy first gave Mr. Arlo a treat, and then Ms. Allie. Mr. Arlo showed his butt of course and attempted to attack Ms. Allie. So Ms. Allie has been walking on egg shells ever since...she's a super smart cookie! Mommy is hopeful with more quality time spent together, Mr. Arlo will return to his air humping self that he previously was. Soooo, Mommy loaded Mr. Arlo into his covered wagon, Daddy loaded you two in the carriage, and Ms. Allie walked on leash, and we all headed to Grandmoo's. We left not knowing how Grandmoo would react. She's still not over Mr. Murff (of course neither is Mommy), but Grandmoo hates to be reminded of Mr. Murff. When we were about a block away Mommy called Grandmoo to tell her to come outside that the circus would be coming down her road :)- She gave you two lots of lovings and peeled several oranges for you both. Afterwards, she gave Mr. Arlo and Ms. Allie some water. Mr. Arlo was too comfy in his wagon to bother with any water, so he enjoyed a bone from Grandmoo. Grandmoo gave Mr. Arlo some attention and then greeted Ms. Allie. All in all our morning Grandmoo adventure went well. At least you two and the two fuzzy butts enjoyed yourselves. When we returned home we ALL took a long nap.
Mommy had arranged for a surprise cookout for Daddy. Sean Franky was the first to arrive, he found all of us still asleep , so he made him a coke and attempted to get the remote from Daddy without waking him...which is no easy task. Daddy always has the remote buried somewhere around him. Grandpa Kurt was the next to arrive, Mommy heard the doorbell and was awakened... crap, I overslept! No shower for Momma today, at least not until you two went to bed. Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron arrived next. You two babes were still sleeping. You both took a record nap, four and half hours!!!! Grandpa Kurt heard you, Buddha stirring, and so we peaked his head around your door and you yelled, "Grandpa!" You made Grandpa's day :)
Mommy then gave Daddy his presents. Franky gave Daddy the new Sherlock Holmes movie and we got Daddy an outfit from Territory AHEAD he personally picked out, pj pants, cards, and an old fashion shaving brush. Sister Kelly got Daddy two cool Garcia ties. Mommy gave Grandpa his gift, a certificate for 18 holes with a cart, a hot dog, and a large coke from the Legion :) It's tradition. Daddy then started the grill while Mommy prepared corn on the cob inside. We had hamburgers, bratwursts, chips, pickles, and corn. After chowing down, we all headed outside, well Daddy stayed inside most of the time, watching golf. The rest of us filled watered balloons for you two to throw at each other and everyone else. We also turned on the sprinkler and you two had a blast playing in the water, as usual. Mommy worked with all of our critters, making certain everyone felt important and loved :) No incidents to report today :)
Mommy hopes Daddy had a good Father's Day. Mommy tried to make it special. The truth be told, Mommy and Daddy have been fussing at one another, just like you two do with each other :)- Daddy's been on Mommy's naughty list aka "shit list" for a couple of days now ha/ha One thing is certain, you two had a fabulous day enjoying company! AND, you two love your new four-legged sibling :) All we need now is a couple of talking birds, a few pot belly pigs, and we'll be the Beverly Hillbillies.Mommy is going to try to get a good picture of each of our critters tomorrow :)
Sweet Dreams my Sunshine and Moonbeam!
PS Jude, your sisters and little Lizzie have corrupted you... you love to dress up and you LOVE LOVE LOVE to do ballet! Mommy captured some pictures of you that, mark my words, will be printed in your year book your senior year HA/HA!
