Bodhi, you woke up extra early, surprise, surprise. You and Daddy had your special morning time together, and Jude, you woke up a short time later, immediately yelling, "Mommmmmmy, Mommmma, Mommmmy!" :) Mommy got you both dressed, then Daddy took over... he had a special Daddy Wednesday adventure planned for you two. Mommy stayed behind... laundry, dishes, pets, and some craft room work, was more than enough to keep myself busy while you two were on your adventure with Daddy. Daddy took you both to the post office (a Mommy mission), and then you guys went to Foster Park to play your little hearts out. Afterwards, Daddy stopped by Grandmoo's so you two could say hi :) Mommy had lunch waiting for you both when you arrived home. Bodhi, you immediately went to the couch and laid down, saying "night night time." Buddha, you were energized and excited about lunch :) Mommy and Daddy had no problems getting you both down for an afternoon nap . However, fire trucks went by, one street over, and Mommy could hear you, Jude mimicking the fire truck sirens. Mommy could also hear you, Bodhi, singing to yourself... A Dave song! You both eventually fell back to sleep on your own and napped a total of three hours. Daddy also napped while Mommy continued work on my craft room walls.
Grandmoo had told Daddy that she wanted to spend time with you two this evening. So, Mommy took you both over to Grandmoo's and went to work at our old house across the street. Six hours later, Mommy mowed, trimmed, and landscaped until I could no longer see. It was 10:00 p.m. and Mommy was exhausted! Daddy was at home working in preparation for his summer classes. You two of course had a blast with Grandmoo. GiGi came by to see you both and you all walked over to check on Mommy's progress. Jude, you are in a horrible stage... you sneak away, and you don't just walk, you run! Mommy saw you headed for the road when GiGi and Grandmoo lost sight of you, and by the time I ran up front to retrieve you, you had went clear around the house. You are such a stinker! This wasn't the first time you've done this to GiGi and Grandmoo, matter of fact, the last time you were with them at Grandmoo's, you were walking down the sidewalk and GiGi and Grandmoo said "bye Jude," and you said, "bye," and continued down the sidewalk. Grandmoo said "are you walking home to see Momma?" and you said yes. A few seconds later they realized you weren't joking, and you most definitely weren't stopping. Both GiGi and Grandmoo knew when you started laughing and running, they wouldn't be able to catch you. Grandmoo said you about gave a neighbor lady a heart attack. Grandmoo and GiGi, both crippled, were in a dead run and knew they wouldn't get to you before you reached a super busy road. They were hoping you would stop at the corner, and they sent Bodhi after you. Bodhi, you decided it was a fun game to laugh and run from GiGi and Grandmoo, so instead of stopping your brother, you joined him!! Thank goodness you both stopped at the corner (good grief)!
Anyway, Mommy and Grandmoo loaded you in our trucks and headed home. Once home, you both walked upstairs to pick out your jammies and take your vitamins. You both fell asleep within minutes. Jude, you again didn't want Mommy to rock you. You wanted to go straight to bed :( Your killing me! Sweet dreams my sweet babes.
