Happy Birtday GiPa!!!

Today was a very special day for a very special person—Happy Birthday GiPa!!! Bodhi and Buddha were excited all morning about going over to see GiPa for his birthday celebration. Bodhi, as usual, was up very early this morning and joined Daddy in the kitchen as he was making coffee. She noticed the wrapped present on the kitchen table and asked what it was. When Daddy replied it was GiPa’s birthday present, she exclaimed “Oh my gosh!!!” (which sounds like, if you are not paying close attention, “oh my god”—but it isn’t—Mommy and Daddy instruct her and her brother to be sensitive to others’ sensibilitiesJ).

Daddy was off to work early, but joined everyone at GiPa’s birthday party at noon, and both of you looked absolutely gorgeous—Buddha you are a remarkably handsome (beautiful, frankly, like your Mother who you look just like!!!) little boy with your crystal clear blue eyes and long wavy blonde hair and Bodhi you are so damn adorable, your Daddy keeps telling you you are a little gypsy princess—beautiful golden brown skin with gorgeous hazel eyes and auburn curly hair---wow, the two of you are stunning!!!

After cake and ice cream and hugs and kisses for GiPa, and after helping him open his presents (when GiPa opened his gift from GiGi, which was a large bottle of cologne, guess what you said Bodhi, yep, “Oh my gosh!!!”J) the two of you received your own special additional treats of staying with GiGi, GiPa, and Grandmoo! Bodhi you made your way to the bed and quietly settled in for your afternoon nap with Nick Jr. in the backgroundJ and Buddha you got to go on a truck ride with Grandmoo and stay with her for the afternoon and evening.  Bodhi, you planted strawberries, went shopping, and ate at Richards with all the old people while with Gi Gi and Gi-Pa.  Jude, Grandmoo worked your little bum off, taking walks, playing, and you even scored a balloon to take home.  Bodhi, picked out some stuff for you, Buddha, during her shopping adventures.

By the time Mommy got over to pick both of you up and bring you home, you both were ready to settle in for the night, so Mommy got you ready for bed, gave each of you your gummi vitamins, brushed your teeth, put you in your pajamas (Mommy put her new sexy pajamas on, tooJ) and settled you both down for “night, night.” Ha/ha Daddy, Hello kitty pants and t-shirt is hardly sexy, you goon!

Mommy and Daddy are going to settle in for the night, too, and watch a movie together while we get some paper work done—all-in-all another day in paradise, another dream come true with a loving family with more adventures to come along the mellow brick roadJ “Night, night!”

Grandmoo bought you and your brother a Diego and Dora shovel to help plant seeds!  You were so excited you got a gift on Gi-Pa's birthday

Suckers!

Bodhi, you gave Gi-Pa his gifts and helped him open them :)

Bodhi, you had GiGi rolling!

"Here Gi-Pa!"

Not letting go of his GiGi!

Bodhi putting cologne on Gi-Pa's face!  Smacked it right on there... at least it wasn't pledge (side joke)

Buddha chowing down on oranges, that is until GiGi mentioned cake ha/ha

There goes Grandmoo's back!

Bodhi putting candles on Gi-Pa's cake :)

Gi-Pa had you two blow out his candles for him

PS Bodhi, funny story...  when you were shopping, GiGi and Gi-Pa couldn't believe how you shopped like a big person all by yourself.  Mommy tried telling them, but I don't think anyone believed Mommy.  When you arrived back to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's house, you headed straight for your piggy bank and tried taking the money out of the bottom ha/ha!  Oh boy, you are more like your Momma than you might think!  GiGi told you weren't going to spend any of your money until you were big... then you could buy a car ha/ha
