Today we celebrated sister Kelly’s birthday, though she and the Governor were so busy they only had a little time to come by today to share some cake and for her to receive her presents from us and Grandmoo. She got a Keurig Mister Coffee machine and some sample packs and chai tea and hot chocolate. Bodhi, you slept through the brief visit, but Buddha, you were able to witness the celebration and be witnessed going bonkers over his first (and we promise, rare occasion) French fries. He confirmed it, he is a Momma’s boyJ Happy Birthday, sister Kelly, we love you!!!
This morning was a traditional Sunday morning, with daddy getting up and spending time with the two of you, Bodhi and Buddha, while mommy had a chance to sleep in a little extra, a rare treat for her, especially since you, Buddha, are keeping her up throughout the night. Once mommy got up, Daddy made a breakfast for all of us consisting of scramble eggs with cheese, and bits of ham, and onion, and tomatoes from our garden, with toast and cantaloupe on the side. Jude also got some banana oatmeal with fresh blueberries. Yum, yum, yum…we love our Sunday breakfast specials!
Later in the afternoon, after sister Kelly and the Governor had come by, and after Sean Franky stopped by to visit us all, and after daddy mowed the yard, you two were given a special treat in our backyard! Mommy bought a sprinkler (she took you, Jude, to purchase it because you wouldn't stop yelling "Mommmm!") and the two of you played outside in the water, and you both loved it (though you, Bodhi, were frightened and distracted for a while by Pete mowing his yard. Mommy cooked hamburgers on the outdoor grill, gave you Jude a bath and got you off to sleep, then Daddy gave you Bodhi a quick bath, then the three of us (you, mommy and daddy) had a late dinner of hamburgers, baked potato, and tomatoes out of our gardenJ
After dinner, Mommy settled in to get some work done she is behind on, and guess what…Bodhi, Buddha, Murffee, Arlo and Daddy headed off to bed…we were all worn out from an active day’s activities, and even though daddy wanted to stay up and smooch mommy (she was wearing her bathing suitJ) we were all just too exhausted. Daddy had big plans to get up early tomorrow and catch up on some of his work…
All in all, a great day, and we sure hope sister Kelly had a great birthday; she is very, very, very special to all of us, and like both of you, a very, very, very special one-of-a-kind person! So happy, happy, happy birthday sister Kelly, and good night you Prince and Princess of Indiana, you very, very, very special baby angels!!! JJ

Jude still eating! You kept grabbing more and more, trying to fit more than one in your hand hee/hee it was so cute, we've never seen you try so hard to eat something... we were all cracking up! You even glared at Daddy when he said all gone, you of course had to check for yourself! That was the first and the last of the taste testing of fries, or we'll have a problem on our hands, and believe Momma, you do not need a french fry habit like me! |
Time to work those fries off :) You got the biggest kick out of Mr. Murff today! |
Due to Pete mowing his lawn... you, Buddha, we're the first brave one to try out the sprinkler. |
Once Bodhi started playing in the sprinkler (after the lawn mower stopped) you lost interest . |
"I'm kinda thristy too Mr. Murff!" |
"Sun worshiping Buddha" ;)
Mommy kept applying and re-applying sunscrean, we'll see in the morning if you got too much sun! |
"Happy Buddha!" ;) |
"Scared Bodhi Butt!" ;( |
Once the lawn mower stopped, you, Bodhi, were having a blast! ;) |
"Look Momma, I can drink like Mr. Murff and Bubs!" |
You and your brother had your tongues out all day! |
"Serious Bodhi"
Mommy gave you a cup to play with and asked that you fill it up. You take your responsibilities so serious! |
Still filling up your cup :) |

You all are too funny. I can never tell who is writing this! Lol. Owen also recent,l had fries and loved them, ughh! i did see something called "veggie sticks" at the grocery, the look like fries but are made of veggies. The ingredient list is pretty short and nothing horrible in them. I give them to him was a snack sometimes or when we really need him go behave! Haha!
