Jude MAN!!!! You actually let Mommy sleep until 7am. You woke up your usual 12am, 3am, and then 5am, but Mommy was able to get you back to sleep until 7am. This was such a treat, especially since Mommy was up until 3am. I've got so much accomplished, Bodhi's 2nd birthday supplies, bills, house cleaned, food bag packed for Aunt Ti's... Mommy is on a roll. Mommy got you up, fed, and dressed, just in time to do the same for Bodhi before her Speech Therapy Appointment with Ms. Connie. Bodhi girl, I think your Daddy's recent bad attitude toward Speech Therapy has rubbed off on you, especially this morning. You were doing your own thing, going through Ms. Connie's bag of toys, not paying her any attention. Ms. Connie is so nice and she was determined to get you to cooperate! Hee/hee, however at the end of our session, after you refused to say, nor attempt to try and repeat any words, Mommy jumped in and got you to at least say your usual "Mommy, Daddy, Bubba, hat, ball, and blue." Mommy didn't want Ms. Connie to leave thinking you were backsliding. Daddy's recent turn in attitude is only due time management, and trying to fit everything in, otherwise he'd still be optimistic hee/hee Juders, you chimed in after closely observing your sister from your Momma's arms playing with all the new toys :( Ms. Connie said, "say yellow, Bodhi." She of course refused, but you Ju Ju said it clear as day :) So, Mommy grabbed up one of the new toys and let you play with it as a reward!
As soon as Ms. Connie left, Aunt Casey McClaine and little four month old, Max Everett McClaine, came by to visit us. Mommy was soooo excited. I've been wanting to check in on Casey, as well as see that brand new baby boy! Aunt Casey was Mommy's mentor at DCS in Lafayette. We shared and office and our caseloads! She passed on her passion for working with teenagers and teaching them Independent Living Skills. Teenagers in the system are the most neglected, but they are the ones that need the most attention and assistance, which requires a ton of patience and hard work. Anyway, it was so great to see Casey as a Momma! Mommy was surprised at how relaxed and comfortable she was with little Max, being a first time Momma and all! She's a natural! Little Maxi is such a big sweetie! Ju Ju, you laughed at little Max, but you didn't like Momma holding him all the time. At lunch time, Daddy was feeding you and you kept yelling "Mommmm!" Bodhi girl, you surprised Momma big time. After your brother arrived, you didn't want anything to do with him, nor did you care much for him. However, you were a little Momma with Max. You took him toys when he was crying, and smiled at him! You loved Aunt Casey and little Max :) Both, you and your brother, patted Max's head like a dog, and you both were very sweet! :) Right after they left, you both passed out.
Bodhi, you actually woke up from your nap first today. Mommy took advantage of this time with you, wrapped you in a soft blanket, and cuddled you on your big girl bed while we watched the "Fresh Beat Band." Every time I told you that I loved you and how special you are, you would smile a great big smile with your pacifier still in your mouth. We cuddled for about a half hour. Daddy came home for about an hour, so Mommy took you to the mall to look for a new hippie skirt to wear to the concert tomorrow. You definitely loved Mommy time today. When we got back home, Daddy had to go to work and Ju Ju had a major blow out... poop from head to toe. Daddy had to clean you, Mr. Jude. Mommy then took you both outside to play. Jude you had a horribly rough day. You decided when you were in your walker, you were going to take off running, right off the driveway and into the grass. Your walker flipped on it's side and you face planted right into the dirt. Poor DUDE! You had dirt in your nose, ears, mouth, all over your face and hands :( You had scrape/bruise above your eye, on the side of your head, and on your nose. If that wasn't rough enough, you fell on Mr. Murff while Mommy was getting Bodhi out of the bath tonight and snipped at you, and this time he got your cheek. It wasn't too bad, but Mommy was pissed at herself. I should have put you in jail, your play yard, despite you screaming to be let out. I shouldn't have gave in. Now you look like someone beat you :( Broke Mommy's heart. I had a clean fresh Jude, but you looked horrible! Tonight, Mommy had to do an unannounced drop-in visit on her client, and Mommy was so glad Daddy decided to keep you, Bodhi, awake so I could put you to bed. You jumped in my arms and laid your head on my shoulder... BEST feeling ever. You were Mommy's love bug today! Juders, you have a second tooth coming in, you drooled like crazy today! You continue to be a big time Momma's boy :)-
