The Concert “Day After"

Well, while Daddy and Bodhi and Buddha certainly got off to an early start (Mommy got some deserved extra rest this morning---though not much), it was another long, hot day well endured. Mommy joined us for breakfast and then had to get off to work, while Daddy unsuccessfully attempted to get some work done at home while looking out for you two.
When Mommy got home around 4:30, we all went together to Lafayette so she could complete some training, she was being taught how to drug screen her clients. The three of us “hung out” driving around in the air-conditioned car to pass the time, and to attempt keeping cool (our car outside thermometer registered 101 degrees!!!). When Mommy was finished we picked her up at her office and briefly shopped at Hobby Lobby (we will not shop the Kokomo Hobby Lobby, even though the store chain is one of our favorites, and we recommend the boycott to all our friends and thoughtful strangers---a past affront by the store manager and sales clerk inclined us to demonstrate, and our demonstration and boycott continues). However, Mommy, after months of shopping and planning has finally decided on a design for the display of family photos J  Afterwards, we grabbed some dinner through the drive through at the Igloo and headed home to another welcome soft bed!
The long hours, the stress of commitment to work by both Mommy and Daddy, and the heat are combining to make for very tired folks---though the two of you seem content trying to sustain your energy level through it allJ. Tomorrow we hope to catch our breath and get our energy levels restored to your levels, Bodhi and Buddha. We miss keeping pace with youJ!
Sweet dreams, our blue-eyed son and our darling young one---Dylan missed a remarkable chance at inspiration by not knowing the two of youJ

Happy to back home, out of the heat!! :)
