Illness Creeping In

This morning neither of you went to Aunt Ti's house while Mommy and Daddy were at work, but Bodhi, you were told Jude went to Aunt Ti's and that you got to stay with Grandmoo for the day.  Aunt Ti and her family went on vacation this week.  Jude, you actually went to GiGi's and Gi-Pa Poncho's house.  Juders, you slept much better last night but you woke up with a bit of a runny nose and tired eyes! :)  Bodhi, you also woke up with a runny nose :(  You definitely were not feeling well today.  Grandmoo  reported that you wouldn't eat lunch for her and insisted on going straight to bed for your afternoon nap.  You both took a long afternoon nap.  Jude you went down for your nap after Mommy returned home, and you had a hard time getting comfortable.  GiGi reported that you, Jude are the sweetest baby boy! You had a blast, despite not feeling very well, playing outside with GiGi.   Bodhi, Grandmoo said that you felt horrible.  You both obviously needed sleep, as you both slept for 3 1/2 hours today.  You were grudgingly awakened by your Momma and Juders :( you had made some noises as if you were awake) but  Jude screeching at you really woke you up! :)

On a side note, Mommy got a call out of the blue while you two were napping.  It was the HR with the Department of Child Services, Mommy's former employer.  Mommy was told that her former Director of Tippecanoe County DCS, Angela Smith Grossman, had suggested to the Director of Cass County contact Mommy to see if I would be interested in taking a full time position with his county.  Mommy was flattered to be thought of, however, Mommy is currently working a case for Tippecanoe County DCS, so it's not feasible right now.  Mommy doesn't know if she could stand to leave you two full time... especially with Cass County being a half hour away.  Mommy's keeping an open mind though.  I'm definitely flattered to know that Director Smith Grossman valued me as an employee!

Sean Franky came over and played with you two, right after Mommy had gotten you both up and diapers changed.  Mommy had been playing "tickle monster" and was getting both of your "getties" which made you both laugh and scream hysterically.  Mommy then put all your clothes away while you two were preoccupied with Franky.  Juders you got hurt playing with Franky, you bumped your head on the either the crib or the rocker, and you have a bruise on your eyebrow :(  Mommy immediately picked you up and held you, you stopped crying and continued playing.  Mommy and Franky then fed you both dinner.  Neither of you ate very much.  Afterwards, Mommy took you outside to play for a couple of hours.  You both loved your outside time.  However, you, Bodhi, would periodically reach your arms out for Mommy to pick you up and hold you.  When Mommy wasn't holding you, you were busy helping Mommy pull weeds out of the front flower garden.  You were such a good helper.  You carried all the weeds Mommy pulled and placed them in a pile that I had started.  Jude, you pulled a leaf off of the ivy hanging over the flower wall and proceeded to eat it when Mommy had her back turned :)-  Mommy also fed you both watermelon outside on the front step.  You both love your fruit! Bodhi, when you weren't helping Mommy, you were busy hammering your nails in your workshop, sweeping the porch and sidewalk, pulling your brother in his walker, drawing with chalk, following Grandmoo around, and riding your tricycle... you are one busy bitty!

After playing outside, getting good and sweaty dirty, Mommy took you both inside for a bath.  Sister Kelly stopped in after her hair appointment, as Mommy was getting you two ready for your baths.  Jude, you refuse to take baths these days.  You scream and try to escape by climbing out of the tub head first.  If Mommy wasn't right there, you would head dive into the tile outside of the tub, you hate baths so much.  I don't understand why, it's been several baths ago that your head went under.  Mommy even puts ear plugs in your ears given your current ear problems :(  I have to hold you stable with one hand, and try to wash you with the other.  You about climb up Mommy's arms!  After wrestling you, Buddha, Mommy gave you Bodhi a bath.  Bodhi, you still LOVE your baths.  However, tonight, you didn't feel much like playing.  Mommy could tell you enjoyed your bath, but that you were sick and ready for bed.  Mommy loves to smell you and your brother after baths and lotioning you two up.  You both smell so baby fresh, it's Mommy's all time favorite smell, even over coffee :)  Mommy put you both to bed a little earlier tonight, you two did not fight it :)  Sweet Dreams fresh baby butts!

Bodhi, Mommy's throat is hurting really bad this evening!  I hope you don't have this sore throat!  If you do, we caught it from Jeanie at Aunt Ti's.  She had strep throat, but you had contact with her 24 hours after she had been on antibiotics... Aunt Ti said the doctor said she wasn't contagious, however, I think we've caught it! :(  OOOH I hope you don't have this, because Mommy's throat is killing, and all of the sudden, so weird!

"Momma, I don't understand why you have to put clothes away... you should be in here playing with me!"

"Ummm where are you going Momma?"

"Here Buddha, put this in your mouth and chew on it like me!"

Bodhi chewing on a block just like her fuzzy brothers, and Juders, you were climbing the bookshelf, showing off for Franky.  You climb everything Buddha, just like Franky did when he was little!  Daddy says Franky was huge like you and he would climb up door frames and corners of walls.  Daddy called Franky moose when he was your age.

Franky (aka Moose) and the babes... Mr. Murff not too happy that Franky was holding his Juder pup!

"GRANDMOO!!!!!"

"Boy you are heavy Bub!"  "Wait up Sis, I want to grab a leaft to eat!"

"Sis, I don't get why you pick leaves, throw them on the sidewalk, and then try to sweep them into the grass?"  "Why don't you just pick them and put them in the grass?"  "I wish I could walk without this walker, I'd show you."

Mr. Arlo Ben-Rubi taking it all in

Progress on our neighbor, Vincent's home :)
