Growing In All Directions

Jude, you woke up before your sister, nothing new, and Daddy got you changed and dressed while Mommy went and got your sister up and dressed.  We then headed to Aunt Ti's.  Aunt said you both were angels again today.  Jude, Aunt Ti reported that you would not leave her side, and that anytime you lost sight of her, you would cry.  Bodhi, you had a fun day and played with Aunt Ti's kids, nieces, and nephews.  Aunt Ti took you all for a walk since it was cooler out today.  Jude you passed out for about five minutes, and Bodhi, you of course enjoyed your outdoor time as usual.  Aunt Ti also said, you, Bodhi, didn't get upset when you saw Uncle Brent.

Mommy brought you two home and got you both down for your naps.  Daddy was able to get a lot of work done today (thank goodness) and then Mommy went back to work.  Mommy met a 23 year old kid that works and lives at the Rescue Mission.  He helped Mommy and her client load and unload Mommy's clients' items.  Mommy, of course, had to find out his life story.  I found it very sad that he was living and working at the Mission at such a young age.  It was apparent to Mommy that he was probably,  slightly mentally handicapped. He was raised by his grandparents in Peru, IN.    He asked that I let everyone I know, he is available and in need of odd jobs.   These type of stories break Mommy's heart.  We may not be perfect, but Bodhi and Jude, you two are blessed to have so many people surrounding you that love and care for you, that would do anything for you.  Some people do not have a single person they can turn to or that love them unconditionally.  I'm not saying that this young man doesn't have anyone that loves and cares about him, I don't know, but I do know it makes Mommy appreciate our family!

When Mommy returned, you, Jude were awake with Daddy.  Bodhi, you woke up shortly after Daddy left for work.  Mommy let you two run around the house doing as you pleased, while I finished up some paperwork.  You two had a blast.  Sister Kelly and the Governor stopped by to visit, so Mommy took the opportunity to go and replace gas in Grandmoo's truck that I used today.  Otherwise, Mommy would have waited until late this evening, after you two were in bed, and after I finished dinner to do so.  Thank you Sister Kelly and Governor!  Jude, after dinner, you wanted to go to bed.  Bodhi, you stayed up and watched Blues Clues with Daddy while Mommy nursed your brother to sleep.  When Mommy came back downstairs, you helped Mommy take the trash out and then off to bed you went.

Bodhi, you are changing daily.  You are trying to talk more, and you are interacting by using more facial expressions. nods, and sounding out words, rather than just grunts.  It's a matter of time before you are chattering away :)  Mommy can't wait for you to verbalize your thoughts!  You are so smart and everyone can see your little wheels a turning, it'll be so fun to hear what you have to say about everything.  Jude man, you are standing and trying to walk more and more.  You average three steps before gracefully falling to your bum.  All your moves are very planned and controlled.  It's amazing to watch you and observe how you are able to maneuver around.

Bodhi thoroughly enjoying her walk at Aunt Ti's today :)
