Friday Night Concert

We all had long days, beginning very early this morning, but all-in-all it was a pretty nice day for everyone. Mommy was especially tired and only had an opportunity for a very short nap. Sister Kelly and Aaron came by to see each of you and stay and play for a short while. They didn’t stay long, though, as they understood we had plans to head over to the concert in the park at Foster Park.
When we got to the park, we realized there weren’t the same vendors for something for us to eat while enjoying the concert. We later discovered some folks were selling water and pizza and soda and even ice cream, but before that discovery we decided to go over to the New Orleans style restaurant downtown and get some carry out sandwiches for our concert. Mommy particularly enjoys the barbeque so it was a nice alternative given it didn’t appear the vendors would be available---we concluded because this is the week of the fair that most of the vendors were probably unavailable.
The music line-up for the concert included many young, amateur talents, some ok, some not so good. Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves and had several good photo ops and around 8:30 p.m. we decided to make our way home. Along the way we encountered Grandmoo walking some dogs she is caring for this week, and we briefly headed home where all of us decided soon thereafter it was time to hit the sack.
