Extra Squeezes and Tons of Kisses

This morning AT&T sent a technician to get our home phone line ported from Comcast and up and running once again.  Once the technician, Vince left, we headed to the post office to mail the Christmas cards Mommy stayed up stuffing and addressing last night (or early this morning, 4a.m.'ish) ugggh!  After our post office stop, we headed to our favorite Antique store to pick up the antique frames Mommy has on hold.  Mommy can't wait to get two posters of the two of you made to fill them, for now, there are two creepy pictures of strangers hanging on our staircase...one Harriet Burgot Snodgrass, born February 2nd, 1877, and one baby (unknown).   Mommy feels sad that these photos are no longer kept in their family member's home, and I do feel extremely guilty removing their pictures from their frames.  I most certainly cannot throw them away...they'll have to be relocated to the basement or garage.

We then ran several other errands, forcing the two of you to eat hot dogs in the car.  I know, I know, but you two were hungry and Mommy had to get these errands completed before the two of you went down for a nap.  Once we made it back home, you Buddha, went to sleep with threats of not being allowed to go to Grandmoo's unless you napped. Bodhi, you of course were too excited to sleep, and the power nap you took in the car had you re-energized and roaring to go :(

Mommy rushed to get things done and prepare for work.  Daddy arrived home early from work, and so he waited for the two of you to awaken and then took you to Grandmoo's house.  Grandmoo was super excited to spend the evening with the two of you.  Daddy was able to get the remainder of his grading completed for the end of semester grades.  Mommy worked in Frankfort and arrived home around 8pm.  Bodhi, you were passed out, but Buddha, you waited up for Mommy.  Mommy laid with you until you fell asleep, but of course you would awaken every time I attempted to get my big butt out of your little toddler bed ha/ha  You would grab my neck and say, "I want you Momma, stay with me!"  You can be the sweetest little guy. :)

You both received extra hugs and kisses from Mommy and Daddy today.  There was another school shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut.  Sadly, 18 children and 8 adults were murdered. I could hardly stomach seeing the images and hearing the news reports before I had to distract myself.   Mommy can't imagine the pain and sorrow that the family members of the victims and perpetrator are enduring.  My heart and prayers go out to  them all! So SAD!  I hope that they can somehow find peace and comfort, but I honestly don't know how one would even begin to heal, especially after the loss of a child.  :(  Mommy didn't want to leave you two to go to work.  I just kept squeezing and kissing you two (neither of you minded) :)

Mommy needs to get the two of you to  start working on Aunt Dianna, she home schools her two school-aged children while caring for all four of her children.  What's another two?  Especially you two geniuses :)-

Wally was making messes today, so Mommy trapped him in the birdcage sconce :)

Buddha, you continue to be obsessed with vents, pipes, air ducts, fans, furnaces, and electrical outlets, uggggh!

"What's down there Grandmoo?"

Potty then hand washing, and then more hand washing.

Harriot Burgott Snodgrass, born February 2nd, 1877.

Buddha, Daddy found Mr. Arlo snoozing in your bed!!!  No way that D#ck was going to be cuddling you ha/ha  He's so mean!!

"Say what?"

Ms. Allie's safe place when her Momma isn't home :)
