Christmas Card Party for Momma

Our Christmas cards finally arrived today!! :)  Mommy was so excited to see the final printed copy of this year's Christmas card. Ms. Allie cooperated nicely, as did Mr. Arlo.   However, Mr. Murff is greatly missed and the Christmas card tradition initially left Mommy feeling blue :( Daddy helped this year by creating the message on the back of the card :) Mommy doesn't know if anyone will "get" the message, but those that pay close attention to detail, Daddy believes, will catch on hee/hee Lets just say with our new additions to our family, Dora & Ella, and then of course, the two of you, our traditional "funny dog card" has shifted toward a family card.  Mr. Arlo's and Ms. Allie's picture is smaller. Mommy and Daddy have both been told by several of our friends that they look forward to seeing what we come up with next, and they actually collect our cards and share with their family and friends :)  Mommy hopes we don't disappoint each year, but Mommy has had to "clean-up" the cards since you two have come along hee/hee

Anyway, Mommy got busy this morning with house work, bathing you two (especially you- you puke haired Buddha), preparing for work etc...

Mommy even spot cleaned our carpets with my new spot cleaner (an early Christmas present from the two of you and the hounds...how appropriate) which kept you two entertained while I was able to do other chores hee/hee It's a hands free cleaner so you start it up and leave it, but you two weren't leaving it.  Oh how easily entertained you two are with the simple things.

Jude, you back to normal, so apparently you had an eight hour flu bug???  Oh how I don't want to see our ER bill!  However, Mommy and Daddy and Bodhi and Gigi and Grandmoo were all relieved that you are okay and feeling better.  Gigi insisted that you accompany your sister to her house once Mommy goes to work.  Daddy was going to take off work to stay with you, while your sister went to Gigi's so Mommy could go to work, but since you are apparently over your flu bug, Gigi wanted you!

Jude, you took about an hour nap, but Bodhi you were too excited to go to sleep.  You wanted to go to Gigi's and Gi-Pa's as soon as possible.  Once Gigi arrived, you came strolling down the stairs.  You were ready to go.  Mommy had to leave for work, so you two awaited Jude's appearance :)  Mommy's sure to get stories later this week about the two of you. One thing is sure, you Mr. Buddha, are mimicking your sister's negative comments..."I don't like you," "you are mean,"  and "I don't want you."  Sissy says them when she is tired and grumpy, but you use them at your disposal much more frequently. Mommy has had many talks with you regarding stating these hateful statements, as with you, Ms. Bodhi, so for now we're just enduring it.

When Daddy arrived, Jude you told Daddy, "I don't want you."  You didn't have a choice though ha/ha, Daddy packed you and your sister up in the car and headed home.  You both were exhausted, when Mommy arrived home from work an hour later, Bodhi, you were passed out, and you Jude were fighting going to bed, telling Daddy, "I want Mommy."  Mommy rocked you and was about to put you in your bed when you said, "I want Daddy to rock me."  Mommy told you that you hurt your Daddy's heart by telling him you didn't want him.  You quickly yelled out to Daddy, "Daddy I DO want you and I'm sorry."  Such a stink pot :)  Nighty night and sweet dreams!  Mommy has Christmas 200 cards to stuff and address...it's going to be a long night!  Daddy picked up two movies for us to watch while working on cards, Yay!
