Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012! Oh my golly, what a jolly holly Christmas, this year, is how the song is believed to go, and oh my golly, did this ever prove to be a wondrous, joyful Christmas season!

After returning the night before from our celebration with Grandma, GiGi, and GiPa, Mommy busied herself with preparation of crock pots of Christmas morning breakfast specials. Where Mommy gets her energy (let alone her creativity) is a miracle fitting for the seasonJ.

As arranged Mommy phoned Grandma, GiGi and GiPa to come join us when the two of you awakened, so we could all enjoy your discovery of Santa’s visit to our house (Jude Liam, among your many precious comments these days---continual references to being bitten by spiders and needing to go to a Doctor and your cautious distribution of kisses you explain you keep “lots of” in your mouth---the timely, seasonal observation of yours is that you believe Santa lives across the street from us at the Seiberling Mansion; we believe you inferred this logical observation from the fact that we participated in the Mansion’s tree lighting ceremony, carriage ride, and Santa visit—and you of course figured Santa must live there, after all it is a physically majestic structure! Daddy thinks he succeeded in convincing you that Santa just rests there during the Christmas holiday, though he and his elves (including, of course, Wally) actually live at the North PoleJ). And of what a discovery you two displayed, wonder in your glistening eyes at the layout of toys—giant doll house and emergency responders headquarters, princess and prince costumes, super-hero capes, remote control cars, dolls, stuffed kitty and stuffed doggie, and more, oh my!

You were purely in heaven, Ms. Bodhi, and frankly, young Buddha, we were all convinced you were suffering some “jet lag” from several previous full days of activity and celebration, as you were somewhat a grumpJ! We all shared in the joy and love of the special day and special celebration of two special little blessings. We enjoyed our specialty breakfast prepared by Mommy, and after several hours of boundless energy, we grown-ups started to fadeJ. Grandma, GiGi and GiPa made their way home, and we all settled in for the ensuing afternoon napJ!

The Christmas day celebration didn’t come to a close by a long shot, though, as Mommy of boundless energy prepared a dinner for all of us to enjoy together when Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron and Brother Sean Franky came over to celebrate yet another gift exchange and dinner celebration! The two of you came out of this celebration whirlwind season with too many toys and gifts to list, and we all were overjoyed by the love and blessings of our family (we also celebrated phone calls from Papaw and Brother Ryan)! It is difficult to imagine a more meaningful and enjoyable holiday season, and as we begin to look forward to next year’s visit of Santa (and Wally), it is incredibly difficult to imagine greater gifts of love and family that lie ahead!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!!!!!

When Mommy tucked you both into bed, I told each of you Merry Christmas and how much you are loved.  You both wrapped your little arms around my neck, wished me a Merry Christmas, and even said “thank you Mommy.”  Mommy will never forget each of these moments with you two.  You both are so incredibly sweet and Mommy and Daddy are blessed beyond words to have two such special babes!!! Merry Christmas!

You two were so excited, but once everyone arrived you two got the case of shy ha/ha
