A Mellow Brick Road...: A Trip To The ER

As I mentioned, you two awakened at 3am and crowded into Mommy's and Daddy's bed, pushing Daddy out to the couch :( Mommy was out of it this morning ha/ha. Bodhi, you and your brother were running around upstairs playing, talking to Mommy who was still asleep. Mommy came too and asked you, "Bodhi, is Daddy downstairs awake," and you responded, "yep, he's downstairs awake, it's a Mommy/Daddy Day," without skipping a beat I might add. Well, Mommy got a funny feeling and went to check to see if Daddy had made you two breakfast, only to discover Daddy wasn't home, ha! Little stinker butt! Mommy then remembered Daddy had a super early dentist appointment and would be home at about 8am. Daddy arrived home a short time later. You two ate two breakfasts, well a breakfast and a brunch :) Daddy made you two bagels and Mommy slaved and slaved, pouring you two a bowl of cereal hee/hee Once Daddy was home, Mommy went to hang out in bed :) while you two played. Buddha, you went downstairs and ordered Daddy to make Mommy a cup of coffee so Mommy would "get up and play." When Daddy poured the coffee you yelled, "sugar Daddy," and then "cream Daddy." That's my boy! I like it sweet in the morning and black throughout the day :)

Mommy started cleaning, vacuuming downstairs, while you two followed room by room watching Mommy sweep then steam mop. You two are fascinated by the steam mop still! Daddy was working on entering semester grades and grading in his office. Juders, you came up to Momma and crying and said, "kiss my tummy Mommy." Mommy asked you if you fell, and you said yes. You then went to Daddy and told him that two spiders bit you?!? An hour rolls by and you, Buddha, are doubled over crying hysterically. You said your "outer upper stomach" was hurting you. Mommy frantically started searching through the house for signs of anything you may have got into, but nothing. Mommy and Daddy then got scared that you pulled one of your climbing stunts and caused internal injuries. Mommy and Daddy decided you had to go to the ER. Daddy was carrying you out when you project vomited all over the place, including Daddy. You then passed out in the car! Mommy stayed behind with Bodhi, and jumped in the shower. Bodhi, went down for a nap... after gathering up your most prized possessions to take with you (she's such a great big sister).

Mommy received a call from Daddy stating to bring you both clothes, you had puked all over the hospital :( GiGi and Grandmoo came by to sit with Bodhi, who then awakened from her nap. Aunt Dianna down the street offered to watch you, Bodhi, and you were actually excited. Mommy was going to take Daddy the clothes, and then get you to Aunt Dianna's to stay while we were at the hospital. Daddy decided to run home and get you, to take you to Aunt Dianna's but you had left with Grandmoo and GiGi to go Christmas shopping.

Jude, while Daddy was out trying to locate your sister, Mommy accompanied you to get a cat scan, and then your throat scrapped. The nurse was not to great when it came to convincing you to open your mouth, so three nurses had to hold you down while scrapping your throat. Oh boy! The scan went much better. Well, it turns out, you have a bad case of the stomach flu! Ugggggh! Mommy took you home and got you comfortable while Daddy ran out to get your medicine, and dinner for Mommy and Daddy. You ended up sleeping until about 7:30 p.m. When you awakened you were a brand new boy :) You said, "my tummy don't hurt Mommy." Bodhi, went downstairs and retrieved a gift she, Grandmoo, and GiGi bought you. She told you not to touch her because she didn't want to get sick ha/ha but she helped you get your toys open :) You two played for about an hour and then off to sleepy town you both went. Hopefully, this bug is completely gone, we'll wait and see tomorrow.

PS Sister Kelly stopped by and visited with us, including you, no-nap Bodhi. You love Sister Kelly. Also, Mommy was supposed to volunteer today, as well as help Aunt Dianna strip wallpaper, neither of which happened :( Aunt Dianna wouldn't allow Mommy to come down (even wearing a mask) ha/ha she didn't want any bugs passed to her and her babes.
