A Mellow Brick Road...: Welcome Boy and Girl

It was an absolute beautiful morning, but we didn't make it outside as Mommy had hoped :( We had a very busy morning inside. You two were into everything and Mommy was trying to get clothes put away, keep up with feeding you both and playing, playing, and playing some more. At one point, Mommy was making all of our beds when I finally realized, you both were wayyyy to quiet. Mommy went looking for you two, and found you both in the bathroom, Buddha you had Mommy's and your toothbrush in your mouth, uggggh! It's wonderfu that your a Mommy's boy, but my toothbrush? Ummm, NO! Bodhi, you had pulled Mommy's old step stool, the one I used as a child, and you got the toothbrushes out as well as your kiddie toothpaste ha/ha! You did very well Bodhi. You certainly didn't want to use anyone else's toothbrush.... you even told Bubby when Mommy took her toothbrush from his mouth and he then grabbed Daddy's, "No No Bubba, dats Daddy's toofbrush!" You identify items according to color..."Bubby hea's yours, it's yellow!" Mommy punished you, Buddha, by putting three piggy-tails in your hair hee/hee You looked like a stinkin' girl for sure. Mommy and GiGi always say you look like a boy, pretty, but still boyish... you most certainly did not look like a boy in pigtails! We wore ourselves out quickly this morning, so after lunch and two poo diapers, Mommy settled you both in for an afternoon nap.

While you two were sleeping Mommy started working on a kitty mobile/chandilier :) Grandmoo arrived shortly after so that Mommy could go to work. Usually today is an Aunt Ti day, but she's on vacation this week :) We hope she's having a great time because we sure miss her and Ellie and Lizzie and Andrew and Uncle Brentagious. When Mommy arrived home from work, you two were eating dinner with Grandmoo. Mommy took over and then we all went outside. Autumn and her brother Chase spotted us out, and after Mommy took you both and Mr. Arlo for a walk in the wagon, they came over to play. Bodhi, you are so smart! Mommy and Daddy were laughing about you yesterday when Mommy asked you if you wanted to go to the park with Autumn, you said yes, but then you said, "Mommy go wif us pweeese." I'm pretty sure you knew you and your brother would be too much for Autumn to handle. You also don't like when Chase aka "Monster," acts badly. You do not handle bad behavior ha/ha Jude, Chase makes you nervous as well, and you yourself can be so bad. Speaking of bad, Grandmoo asked Mommy a question and distracted me long enough for you both to run down the driveway toward the busy road. Mommy was screaming and yelling as two cars zoomed by and you, Jude, kept running. You were about four feet from the road when you stopped, turned, and started laughing hysterically. Bodhi, you recognized Mommy's tone as very serious and turned back much earlier, but I could see your facial expression, you were torn if you should grab your brother. Mommy's heart stopped and I thought I was going to die. Jude, had you kept running you would have been hit and killed! I can't even begin to describe how I felt. Mommy's world would have been shattered!!!! I was in shock, lucky for you, I should have busted your ass! Instead, I calmly explained you weren't permitted to go past the tree on the driveway. You didn't go past the tree the rest of the day, not even when Bodhi went past it to go in the back door.

After playing outside, Mommy threw you both in the bath. Bodhi, you kept trying to get out and you were telling Mommy you had to go potty, but Mommy couldn't figure out what you were trying to say for the longest time. Finally, Mommy figured it out and sat you on the pot... my big girl! Buddha and I cheered you on and you were so proud. You went pee pee, and Bubby kept going up and trying to see between your legs ha/ha Mommy kept having to pull Bubby back but he wanted to see what was going on :)

Buddha, you went to bed after baths, Daddy arrived home, and Bodhi, you went with Mommy to try and capture Boy Kitty (the inspiration for the whole Kitty/Rescue House) and Girl Kitty. Bodhi, you must have been Mommy's lucky charm because we caught them both within an hour! Mommy got them into our old house and then into the carriers. Girl Kitty was so scared! She litterally climbed the wall... Bodhi, you thought this was the funniest thing ever! Mommy was amazed, she was really climbing the wall!!! We transported them back to their new home, fed them tuna, and showed them where their potty, beds, and food were located. Boy Kitty is dirty and beat-up, Girl Kitty wouldn't come out of her carrier, so Mommy doesn't know what kind of shape she's in... she walked right in the carrier to escape, good thing because I think Mommy would have had a few more bites. Boy Kitty is so sweet, you were able to pet and carry him :) Mommy had to take your pj's off and wash your hands when we got done! So, finally, we have two precious kitties... Welcome Boy Kitty and Girl Kitty!!
