Happy Earth Day my little flower babes! We spent the entire morning and most of the afternoon (past your nap time) on outside adventures. Mommy first walked you both to Grandmoo's to visit, and then we headed to Foster Park. We played, we ran, we snacked, we looked for four leaf clovers and then we played some more. We left the house at about 10:30 a.m. and didn't return until 1:45 p.m. Mommy forgot her phone at home, so Daddy couldn't reach us to check in. Mommy didn't realize how long we were out. Good thing we dressed warm, it was a bit chilly, and it's also a good thing Daddy packed us apple slices and crackers & cheese :) Daddy had stayed behind to proofread Mommy's paper. Daddy really had a chore!
When we returned home, you both passed out immediately. Mommy ran and picked up a butterfly bush, as well as some groceries. Jude you woke up first, so Mommy got your diaper changed but you did not want to do anything without your "Bo Bo." So Mommy allowed you to wake sissy up, she was not thrilled. Mommy got you both bundled up again, and then we headed back outside to plant some trees (from seeds) as well as our new butterfly bush :) Bodhi, you are going to flip when you see all the butterflies in our yard after it blooms. You two planted your trees but then Mommy was left to plant the bush and split-up some Hastas. You two got distracted by Baby Kitty and chased her around the yard and trying to get her out from underneath the Cat House hee/hee you two were adorable.
After you two had enough outside time, Mommy took you inside and finished dinner. Mommy made one of your favorite dishes... chicken noodles and mashed potatoes :) You both kept saying "Yummmm!" :) Jude, you had food everywhere! Mommy threw you both in the bath after dinner. You two enjoyed your bath time, as usual. Afterwards you both went to bed, totally exhausted! :) Hopefully, you two munchkins will sleep in. Mommy and Daddy have a long night a head of us!
Mommy really enjoyed our quality Earth Day time together outdoors :) You two are the best company!
PS No time for captions...walk, park, tree planting, kitty time :)
