Tax Tuesday: our taxes had to be
reported today and thanks to the capable assistance and professional competence
of Greg, Michael, and Matt Sale and their kind office personnel we made it! And
we look forward to some return to address a number of needs for our home,
especially some fence for the security of our baby angels along our alley!
Thank you Greg Sale & Company LLC!!!
Today was a regular, very long
work day for Daddy, up and at ‘em by 5:30 a.m. and not returning home until
after 8 p.m. Whew—exhausting! Mommy had a busy day with the two of you, getting
you both up and running and having our wash machine repaired by Corey from
Jarrett’s (clearly one of the most dependable, honest businesses in Kokomo!!!),
and finally getting the two of you delivered to Aunt Ti so that she could get
her work done in the afternoon and then go to the Leeds house to mow in
preparation for a showing tomorrow morning---let’s hope for the best outcomeJ! Bodhi, Mommy was awakened by a little angel
with marker all over her face, Mommy frantically ran downstairs to survey the
damage. Mommy knew she had forgot to put
the art supplies away from last night’s adventure. You decided to add your own special touch to
you and your brother’s table and chairs, Grandpa Kurt’s set from when he was a
little boy. Mommy reports luckily you
didn’t decide to color anywhere else, but she’s still waiting to discover a small
patch of artwork hidden somewhere else in the house J
By the time Mommy was able to
pick you both up from Aunt Ti’s, Daddy was pulling in the drive to witness all
of you sitting in Mommy’s car; both of you, Buddha and Bodhi, had chocolate
cookie all over your faces, and when Daddy asked why you were sitting there in
the car, Mommy explained that you Bodhi asked her to wait for a song you were
all listening to to finish before you got out---that worked out fine, ‘cause
Daddy got to help carry one of you in (the least messy one, BodhiJ) and see both of you
upstairs before you got off to “night, night.”
Both Mommy and Daddy were as
tired as the two of you, though we planned to watch a movie in celebration of
getting our taxes in under the deadline. We’ll see how well that plan goes off.
Tomorrow much still needs to be
accomplished, including Daddy needing to contact a referral physician Dr.
Hoshaw wants Daddy to see about his backL.
All-in-all, it was a beautiful
spring day, much accomplished, the two of you were angels (though you are
decisively showing your stubborn two’s in full glory, JudeJ), and you both
acknowledged you had a fun day before giving Mommy and Daddy big “night, night”
smooches. Love you stinkers—tomorrow we’ll work on expanding your one word
vocabulary of “no” with “yes” Buddha, and we’ll keep our promise to you Bodhi
and go outside and play baseball—your Mommy and Grandpa Kurt are proudJ!
“Night, night.”
