Three Little Kittens

Tonight, Mommy and Grandmoo re-captured Baby Kitty.  The absolute prettiest and sweetest little "thang."  Grandmoo had her fixed and then released her (it's Grandmoo and another lady's neighborhood project), but both Grandmoo and GiGi fell in love with her sweet disposition and gorgeous coat, Mommy knew she had to be the third and last member of our Kokomo "Cat House," :)  Oddly, she is the sister of "Mean Kitty," she's the complete opposite from her evil brother ha/ha.  So far Baby has settled comfortably into her new home with big Boy Garfield or "Boy," and  Ms. Blue.  Mommy had hoped to get my 30 page paper started today, which shifted to hopes for tonight, but it didn't happen :(.  Mommy and Grandmoo spent a couple of hours trying to catch Baby, something neither Mommy nor Grandmoo had planned on doing, but when Baby showed up to Grandmoo's after being released, we knew she must have been in trouble.  Sure enough, a big ol' boy cat, who happens to run the neighborhood, who beats up and knocks up all the neighborhood kittens,  was hot on her trail.  Anyway, welcome Baby!  Bodhi and Buddha are sure to adore you.

So, the Holsapple family on West Walnut now consists of: two female kitties, Ms. Blue and Baby, one old beat up male cat, "Boy," one fat bulldog, "Mr. Arlo," one spider that greets us by the back door every single night... in the exact same location at the exact same time, "Charlotte," two precious babes, Bodhi and Jude, and then Mommy and Daddy :)  Good grief, we just need a pot belly pig and we'd seriously be a zoo!

This morning Mommy made you both another big breakfast, blueberry waffles and sausage patties,  you two gobbled it up in record time.  Mommy then got you both dressed and took you to Aunt Ti's for the day.  Mommy had to work on our Leeds Street house to get it perfect for the open house scheduled for tomorrow, then grocery shop, and then try to work on my paper.  I didn't make it to my paper :(  Daddy had work to do as well.  So he was busy working all day long too.  Our neighbor girl called and asked if she and her brother could stay the night, her parents were apparently doing something and she didn't want to go to her Aunt's house.  Mommy and Daddy hate that her parent's didn't bother to call, they don't even know us... but anyway, it really bothered Mommy that I had to tell her no because we have so much going on.  You two didn't even get to spend the day with us... needless to say, both Mommy and Daddy worried about them the rest of the night :(

When Mommy picked you two up from Aunt Ti's this evening, Aunt Ti met Mommy in her garage to tell Mommy that she broke your heart, Bodhi.  She said the minute she turned her back, you and your brother started throwing yogurt at each other during lunch and she said she had to use her stern Aunt Ti voice.  Aunt Ti said you both were "pistols" today ha/ha  When Mommy walked in the door you, Bodhi, immediately told on Aunt Ti ha/ha you said, "Mommy, Aunt Ti mean," with an ornery smile on your face.  Mommy laughed and said "Aunt Ti's not mean, were you and your brother throwing yogurt at each other during lunch?"  You laughed and sheepishly said "Yesssss."  You both told Mommy that you had a fun day though, and you both gave Aunt Ti a kiss and hug goodbye :)  By the time we made it home, you both were ready for bed.  Mommy and Daddy showered you both with hugs and kisses.  Bodhi, you of course had to have your movie, "Rio," playing, and Buddha, your music put you right to sleepy town.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes, Mommy and Daddy missed you two monkey butts so much!!!!

PS Thank you Aunt Ti for the banana cake, YUMMMM!
