Down On The Farm

Today began for Daddy as most Saturdays, off early to work, but the two of you managed to get up early with Mommy as well. So, Daddy attempted to get your tv working, Bodhi, since your brother insisted on pushing some button and making your tv reception malfunction, but finally Daddy had to leave it with your Mommy so he could get to work on time. Still, before he left, Daddy made time to make each of you a sippy-cup of apple juice and slice some apples for you (and MommyJ). “Super Daddy,” as you have been recently saying, BuddhaJ!

After Daddy returned home from work, we all got dressed and had lunch and then made off for an adventure at one of Mommy’s discoveries—a farm where we took pictures of the two of you with the Easter Bunny, and some sheep, and generally had an afternoon down on the farmJ.
On the way home, we stopped for a visit at one of the antique stores Mommy and Daddy enjoy visiting, and the two of you were perfectly behaved (perhaps it helped that the store was giving away delicious chocolate chip cookiesJ). Mommy found a huge cast-aluminum mailbox she said she lovedJ.

After the antique store, we made our way home for our afternoon nap, and Mommy and Daddy both got back to work. Mommy went to work for some time, then returned home and took care of the “kitties” and did much yard work, while Daddy worked in the library/study/office. Later, Daddy made a run to purchase some eggs and the two of you and Mommy colored Easter eggs for tomorrow.  Bodhi, you loved decorating your blue eggs with the Hello Kitty stickers, Juders you liked dropping the eggs in the dye, but you enjoyed eating the eggs much more!

Aunt Debbie invited us to come down to southern Indiana, but Daddy’s back can’t manage such a trip right now, so we intend to stay home and have an Easter dinner with MooMoo, GiGi and GiPa, and spend some quality family time together.

Wishing all our family and friends a Happy Easter!!! Love, love, loveJ.

PS Mommy just saw Mr. Easter Bunny in our front yard, he had two baskets with him???

Mommy's too tired to add captions... Jude, you climbed Mommy like a cat, you were having no part of the Easter Bunny unless Mommy was holding you :)  You both enjoyed petting all the critters, hunting dino eggs, and running around on the farm!

Blowing the Easter Bunny a kiss  GOODBYE! HA/HA
