Monday got off to an early start,
Daddy had a breakfast meeting with two friends, Greg Davis and Tom Kelley at
the Windmill Grill. Before leaving, Daddy prepared your apple juice and apple
slices for stinker butt and stinker belleJ.
More importantly, Daddy observed that Mommy was swollen everywhere!
About an hour later when Daddy
got home, Mommy was worse, her swelling of her hands and arms and legs was
incredible and her itching was maddening to her, so we called Dr. Hoshaw’s
office and made an appointment for her.
Even though Mommy was not feeling
well, and looked terrible, she still managed to finish our tax return reports
while Daddy played with the two of you. Daddy waited for Mommy to take a
shower, and then Daddy had to get to work. Daddy asked Mommy to call him if she
started feeling worse before her scheduled doctor appointment.
By the time Daddy got off work,
the two of you were being watched by GiGi and GiPa and MooMoo was again working
on the wild cat sanctuary. Daddy had to get to his other job, so he asked GiGi
and MooMoo to be sure to tell Mommy to text him when she got home from the
doctor so he would know what was going on. Later Mommy text-messaged Daddy that
she was probably having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic she recently
started taking after being bitten by a wild cat, however, the doctor wasn’t
completely convinced since she has all but one of the symptoms for Cat Scratch
Fever! The doctor told her that if she
didn’t feel better after the shot they gave her, it would be a matter of lab
work or waiting to see if Mommy developed any swollen lymph nodes.
By the time Daddy got home, Mommy
was feverish on the couch and MooMoo was still working on the wild cat
sanctuary, and Sister Kelly and Brother Kelly were watching the two of you
munchkins. Daddy got the two of you ready for “night, night” and Jude you went
right to sleep. You got back up and spent more time with MooMoo, Bodhi, and
finally we all went off to bed exhausted and very worried about Mommy. Oh and Boy Kitty escaped and returned to our
old house, several blocks away. Grandmoo
re-captured him and brought him back to his new home… he just needs to realize
it’s his home J-
We will be very watchful of Mommy
tomorrow to make sure we are seeing some progress (she is reporting she is not
itching as badly as she had been but the swelling hasn’t went down), though
Daddy has to be at work very early and gone until 8 p.m. tomorrowL.
Think positive thoughts for
Mommy!!!
Mommy reports she didn't get any pictures today :( but she has several memories she has stored away... you both showered Mommy with hugs and kisses, and you, Bodhi, even covered Mommy with a blanket. You sweet baby girl!
