This morning we awakened to the pitter-patter of bunny feet
hopping around downstairs, so we all gathered together with Bodhi and Buddha
leading the way, and went downstairs to discover a treasure trove of goodies
for a little girl and little boy left by the Easter Bunny. Ummmmm…yum, yum!!!
After a breakfast of chocolate, and marshmallow peeps, and
apple slices and apple juiceJ,
we all enjoyed a beautiful day together, what incredible spring weather!!!
By late afternoon, Daddy (yes, Daddy!!!) had two little
babies in the bathtub, scrub-a-dubJ,
cleaning up for dinner (well, ok, yes Mommy had to help washing hair and
blow-dryingJ).
Afterwards, we made our way to meet MooMoo at GiGi’s and GiPa’s (PaPa’s, says
Jude) and had a private Easter Egg hunt in the backyard. We also had a
delicious ham, baked beans, slaw, fresh dinner rolls, cheese potatoes, deviled
eggs (Daddy tried a coupleJ),
home-made iced tea, rhubarb pie and ice-cream---when we told the two of you we
were going to GiGi’s for dinner, you both simultaneously said “yummmm—and
rubbed your tummies—you both are way too muchJJJ!
After dinner and some play time, we headed home and settled
in for “night, night.” Poor Mommy was not feeling well, itching all over and
showing signs of swelling…Daddy was concerned Mommy was having an allergic
reaction to the wild kitties (Garfield Boy Kitty and Blue Miss Kitty).... Bodhi, you renamed Miss Kitty, Blue Kitty, you and Grandmoo said that she was sad when Boy Kitty escaped, yes, Boy Kitty escaped.
Happy Easter, love to all!!!
