Prayers Going Out

Mommy is mentally exhausted and has a heavy heart.  Every night my routine is to reflect back on our day together while cleaning up the house.  Yes, Mommy talks to herself, well, not out loud at least.  Tonight, I don't quite know how to express the sadness I'm feeling, and unfortunately, Daddy's tooth ache has him passed out so I'm by myself trying to make sense and process through life and death questions etc... :(  Our day started out as usual, you two greeting each other in your own cute little manner, and us all enjoying each other's company playing and playing and playing.  However, while you two were napping Mommy discovered that a neighborhood Momma, Susie Newburn, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor :(  Susie is Ben and Andy's Momma.  Mommy grew up with Ben and Andy and I lived right across the street from them for years.  Mommy's earliest and fondest memories of Susie, were of Susie walking her large, dog-sized CATS on a leash ha/ha  It was the funniest sight ever :)  Mommy was even left in charge of feeding those beasts when the Newburn's went on vacation a few times.  Susie Newburn, and Debbie Riffe, and Jenny Isaacs were all Mommy's "neighborhood Momma's," all influenced and helped shaped Mommy into the person I am today. Grandmoo was a working Momma, so Mommy spent a lot of time with these other Mommas, each uniquely different, but ALL of them LOVED their children with all their heart!  Mommy truly believes in the power of thinking positive and willing yourself to believe you can overcome anything.  This news came after Mommy's boss and good friend, Vivian, sent out a Prayer Mob request for her grandson, Paul.  Paul is a nine year old boy who is also fighting a brain tumor.  The thought behind the prayer mob is to have everyone... acquaintances, family, friends, strangers, anyone and everyone, all pray for Paul on the same date and time, wherever you are, you just stop and say a prayer for him.  Mommy truly believes in the power of prayer and positive thinking.  I don't care who you pray to, or what your specific beliefs are, simply praying can be so therapeutic!  So Mommy will be saying extra prayers for Susie and Paul and their families!!!

This evening Bodhi, you spent time with Mommy, Baby Kitty, and Grandpa Kurt.  JuBoo, you spent time with your Daddy, he took you to a lecture ha/ha yes, you sat through a women's diversity lecture with your Da Da :)  He reports you were actually perfect :)  Bodhi, Mommy baked you cookies while you and Baby Kitty played together.  Grandpa Kurt got the biggest kick out of Baby Kitty following you around, even mimicking you!

You both got extra hugs and kisses tonight, which is hard to believe considering Mommy showers you with hugs and kisses every night!!

Baby Kitty doesn't have a mean bone in her body, this is actually her talking... she talks ALL the time!

Baby Kitty follows you everywhere Bodhi!

You got the biggest kick out of Baby Kitty jumping after you while you were swinging... she thought you were her toy :)

Baby Kitty even helped you dig!  It was the most amazing thing to watch you two together!

You two were so precious!!!

I don't think so Buddha!  You have to go night night in your bed :)

"No.... No, NO, NO!"  That is all you say Buddha!
