Well, today was certainly a
beautiful spring Monday, and the two of you precious babies enjoyed the day
with plenty of Mommy timeJ
Daddy found a new vet for Mr. Arlo
at the Jefferson Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Corey Swart. The good folks there
allowed us an appointment this morning at 9:10 a.m. and we obtained some eye
drops and antibiotics for Arlo Ben-Rubi. We discovered that he has a number of
tumors on his gums which need removed and will prove to be quite an expensive
operation, but we hope to schedule that within the coming weeks.
After bringing Mr. Arlo home and
assuring Mommy and Moo Moo that we have a vet they both will love, Daddy had to
hurry off to a meeting. It was difficult to leave your two stinkers because you
were both in “love Daddy” moodsJ.
Mommy assured me the two of you had a great day, and Daddy learned you shared
part of that time with Mommy with our twelve year old neighbor, Autumn, your
new unofficial babysitterJ. Autumn likes hanging out with Mommy, despite
her dislike for CPS, and she spent most of the day including lunch and dinner
with you two. Mommy and Autumn took you
two to the park this evening, and Mommy says you, Bodhi, loved having an extra
set of hands at the park. You were able
to slide down the big slide with Autumn while Mommy chased Buddha around. During the walk home, Mommy made a stop down
the road to check in on her friend, Dianna, who just recently bought a
home. Mommy says you two will have lots
of playmates to grow-up with, and that makes Mommy happy.
After work, Daddy had to get to
his other job with the domestic violence intervention program, made a quick run
to Target afterwards to stock up on baby diapersJ
and made it home in time to clean up/pickup things outside, come inside for
dinner (while Mommy had to leave for work), then attempt to settle in for some
of the NCAA basketball final game. The two of you, Bodhi and Buddha, were
cooperative and ready for Daddy to get you dressed in your pajamas and off to
bed, but when Mommy got home she insisted on giving each of you some Mommy
lovin’ so that resulted in another thirty minutes of rocking you back to sleep
JudersJ Mommy then went to Grandmoo’s to try and
catch Boy Kitty, who is crippled but sweet tempered. Mommy and Grandmoo didn’t have much luck
because our old neighborhood proved too rowdy and loud tonight.
All in all, it was a beautiful
day and two little angel babies made it safely to “night, night” time knowing
they are adored! “Lub yu,” as you are fond of saying, Buddha, stinker butt and
stinker belle! “Lub yu,” both from Mommy and Daddy!!!
