Farmer’s Market Opening Day

Today began as a normal Saturday, Daddy had to get off to work by 7:30 a.m. and Mommy was up and at ‘em with stinker-butt and stinker-belle. By the time Daddy got home everyone had eaten breakfast and both of you, Bodhi and Buddha, were pleading to go “bye-bye.” So, Mommy helped dressed the two of you for a brisk outdoor adventure and Daddy got the horse and buggy out of the carriage house. Oh yea, Daddy is the horseJ.

Mommy helped tuck the two of you in the carriage-buggy surrounded by a light blanket, and the three of us were off to downtown to check out opening day for Farmer’s Market 2012J. It was quite a cool day this morning, but a brisk walk invigorated all of us, and by the time we arrived at the Farmer’s Market we were ready for a treat—Daddy had gathered his hidden compartment moneyJ and it proved to be a good thing because “we” purchased an Amish made strawberry pie to bring home, some fresh Amish country eggs to bring home and a ginger cookie, some herbal iced tea and a bowl of delicious chili which the three of us sat down and gobbled right up—we saved a sip of the herbal tea for Mommy but the cookie and chili never made it homeJ.

By the time we arrived home it was nap time so the two of you went down to rest, and Mommy and Daddy worked independently on some house chores: Mommy climbed out on the roof from her craft roomL and worked on cleaning the aluminum siding of the house and cleaned out our front gutter and Daddy pulled a large tree limb from the front pine tree, a remainder from a winter ice storm, and dragged it around to the alley for disposal, then Daddy climber way, way, way up one of the pine trees in the back to saw an additional huge limb damaged by the ice storm---whew!
Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came by and visited Mommy and Daddy outside for a while, waiting for the two of you to awaken from your nap, but they decided to go do some shopping and come back later, knowing we had an afternoon appointment to meet with a window replacement representative. A short time later the window replacement rep from Unique Windows and Doors out of Indianapolis came be and gave us an estimate on replacement windows for the house—it is so expensive it can’t even be repeated here---but the sales representative was a very nice and well-educated young man. Daddy hopes his company finds lots of millionaires to do business with so he can do well in his career.

Brother Sean Frankie stopped by for a short visit, he had to run because he had a six foot by five foot by six foot hole to dig, looking for a leaking pipeL. Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came back by to fetch the two of you and took you out on another adventure, a MacDonald’s picnic at two parts over by their home in Greentown.

Uncle Bruce Rood and Auntie Laura stopped by for a visit J  Luke was at a friend’s house, so Bodhi you didn’t miss out on seeing your buddy.  You adore Luke little girl.  Mommy gave Aunt Laura a tour of our home and Daddy visited with Uncle Bruce.  We had a nice visit, one that needs to happen more frequently!

Mommy attempted to squeeze in time to work on her graduate program courses, and once again, frankly, we were all exhausted by “night, night” time—Bodhi you were fussy and finally wanted Daddy to carry you upstairs to bed, and Buddha you were a pistol staying up until 9:30 p.m!!! and finally gave in to giving everyone “night, night” hugs and kisses. Quite a day—“night, night!!!”

PS we got some really good feedback from the last showing we had of our old house :)  Fingers crossed everyone!

Picnic at Sister Kelly's and Brother Aaron's :)

You two stinker butts really freaked out when Brother Aaron got on the roof!

"Hey No NO, down Brother Aaron!"

Buddha you love ladders... you had one fall on you not to long ago!

Bo watching in fear as Brother Aaron climbs down!

JuJu loves to wear women's shoes, YIKES!

"Have some sprite Hello Kitty!"

Park Time!

Back home again :)

"Come here Baby Kitty!"  Baby keeps coming back at night.  Mommy went and retrieved Boy from our previous residence :)  AGAIN!

Such a sweet baby girl!  She answers to her name too :)

Proof that we have a pet spider that visits by our back door at the same time every night. ..Charlotte :) She doesn't look right in the picture though.  She'll be okay so long as she never tries to come inside, or jumps on Mommy :)
