Daddy wanted us to start our day with adventures. So, while Daddy was showering, Mommy worked on my work report and then we were all off to the antique shops. Mommy bought to really heavy iron garden chairs. They were a rusty cream, tonight they are aqua :) We ate lunch together in between shops, and then we headed home for nap time. Bodhi, you decided you didn't want to nap, and Jude, you fell right to sleep. While you both were "attempting" a nap, Mommy stained and sealed you swing set, and Daddy got some work done inside. Daddy also cleaned our new chairs so that Mommy could spray paint them. Grandmoo came over and was working on the kitty house. It's looking so nice, our neighbors and family say they'd live in it :) Grandmoo converted an armoire into multiple level bedding, it's super cute and super clever. Once you both were up, Daddy played with you both until you, Bodhi, insisted that you call GiGi. Needless to say, you both ended up having dinner with GiGi and Gi-Pa. Afterwards you both played outside with their neighbor boy, Jude. Bodhi, you told GiGi and Gi-Pa, "there are two Bubby's." hee/hee Mommy asked you which you Jude you liked best, and you searched around the yard looking for Buddha, and said "Bubby," and pointed at Jude, your brother :) Mommy and Daddy cooked hamburgers out on the grill and Mommy took you, Jude for a quick wagon ride. We then came inside and got you two settled in bed. Bodhi, you were so exhausted since you didn't have a nap. Daddy rented Mommy a movie to watch together, but he fell asleep within the first five minutes. So, Mommy was stuck watching a scary movie by myself. Grandmoo and Daddy insist that Mommy re-release Bad Kitty since he's not happy and will beat up the other strays. So, Mommy has to conduct a super secret mission and release him. He's flee free and fixed, but Mommy's stomach hurts thinking about what a nice life he could have had, one where he could freely come and go from his own home. It's so sad. Hopefully, he'll be happy going back, but Mommy knows his family won't accept him now that he's been fixed, he won't smell right to them :( This breaks Mommy's heart! However, Boy Kitty, the whole reason this project got started, is going to have a good home, and not have to worry about another male beating him up. Boy Kitty is crippled, and sweet as can be. Mommy hopes I'm making the right decision! Sweet dreams my sweet babes. You'll have a whimsical playhouse full of nice cats before you know it :)
PS no pictures today, so Mommy snapped some pictures of the projects that got completed :)
