A Mud Puddle Huntin' We Will Go!

After Mommy made you a yummy breakfast (bacon and eggs) and after Mommy showered, we went outside to play for a bit.  Bodhi, you were watering flowers with your new Diego watering can with Momma, when  a car drove by, stopped, backed up, and a guy (he just bought a house down the road) said, "that is the cutest thing I ever seen!"  Baby Kitty was beside you watering, and you did look absolutely adorable :)  Mommy thinks our new neighbor has a little boy and a little girl too :)  Buddha, you fought your sister over the watering can.  I don't know what I was thinking when I only bought one... you didn't seem all that interested at the store.  Daddy had some errands to run, so he took you, Buddha with him.  He stopped off at Lowes and picked up another watering can, a Dora version.  Bodhi, while Daddy and Bubby were out running errands, you helped Mommy take Mr. Arlo and Baby Kitty for a walk around the block.  We then enjoyed our porch swing together.  When Buddha and Daddy arrived home, Bubby ran up to you, Bodhi, and handed you the Dora watering can.  You said, "Awwwww thank you Bubby."  You then ran to the front porch and retrieved the roses you picked (you picked one for Mommy, Daddy, and Bubby), and you ran back to Bubby and handed him a rose.  Bubby, you then told your sister, "awww tank ouuuu Bo Bo."  You two are adorable!  Daddy reports that a lady told you guys, that you, Jude, were the "prettiest little girl she's ever seen."  HA/HA!  Daddy corrected the lady saying, "she is a he," and yes he is very pretty and his sister is actually the prettiest little girl ;)  You are a pretty little boy, but I don't get it?  You look like a boy to me!!! It must be your long beautiful blond hair hee/hee

After lunch, you two went down for a late lunch.  While you two napped, we got quite the downpour!  Buddha, you woke up first, Mommy wrapped you in your blanket and took you on the porch to watch the rain.  Bodhi, you awakened minutes after Mommy and Jude went on the porch.  Ju Ju, you were content being wrapped up, watching the rain, and Bo, you stomped and danced around the porch.  Jude, after a while you wanted to go play in the rain.  Mommy thought what the heck!  We all put on our rain boots and played in the rain.  We walked down the alley playing in dirty mud puddles, and you two loved throwing sticks and leaves down the storm drain.  We played outside in the rain, soaking wet, for over two hours.  Mommy was shocked to see Daddy pull up in the driveway, I couldn't believe how quickly time flew by.  Daddy helped Mommy strip you two down to your diapers, and then Mommy took you upstairs to throw you in the bath.  Daddy made dinner while Mommy scrubbed you two clean.  Mommy then had to go to work to do an unannounced drop-in visit, and you two spent some time watching cartoons with Daddy while eating your dinner.  Mommy arrived home just in time to put you two to bed :)  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  We had a wet and wild day together.

PS Mommy finished her final Graduate paper and will never have to write another one EVER again!  YAY!!!!  Thank you Daddy for helping me :) Wubb you!

Usually while Mommy is getting cleaned up, you and your sister play ball with Mommy... this morning you both decided to help Mommy out and do a little cleaning :)

Look at that diaper butt!

An old pro!

Let the games begin :)

You two had a blast!

Mommy's little rain baby!

Such a sucker with your Diego watering can and rain boots :)

Sunday Away

You two spent the morning with Mommy and then you were off with Aunt Ti :)  Aunt Ti reported that you both blew Mommy kisses as you were pulling away.  Boy does Mommy and Daddy miss you two when you are away!  Mommy had to work on her last Graduate paper, which is due Monday morning :(  Daddy had to proofread and assist Mommy as needed, thank you Daddy!

You two had a great time at Aunt Ti's, and you both were playing outside when Mommy arrived to pick you up this evening.  Neither one of you wanted to leave, but you both were happy to see Momma :)  Aunt Ti reported that you, Bodhi, wouldn't eat dinner and that you were sweating.  She took your temperature and you were within normal range.  Mommy and Aunt Ti do not know what was up with your lack of appetite?

When we arrived home, Baby Kitty was waiting on us, as was Daddy.  Mommy took you both upstairs, a long with Baby Kitty, and got you both dressed in your p.j.'s.  Ju Boo, you got scratched baby sweet Baby once again!  You insist on putting Baby in a head lock to give her a big bear hug, she obviously does not enjoy it.  This is your second time getting scratched by Baby :(  You two quickly made up though.  Bodhi, you are so good with Baby, you only occasionally have to be told to be easy :)

You two went right to sleep, and Mommy should have followed, I have five more pages to go.  However, Mommy caught Horrible Bosses on tv, and I can never stop watching it when it's on.  I rarely watch television, but Horrible Bosses and Bridesmaids crack Mommy up and I have to watch :)  It's going to be a long night, hopefully Monday will be too tough on us!  Love you both to pieces!  Sweet dreams!

Separate Super Secret Adventures

You got an extra special treat again this morning, as promised to you last night.  Grandmoo snuck over and stole you away, Bodhi.  You love to ride in Grandmoo's truck, you can see everything.  Mommy secretly watched you as Grandmoo pulled out of the driveway.  You had the biggest smile on your face.  Ju Boo, you were next.  GiGi arrived after Bodhi was gone, and she snatched you up and took for your own special adventure.  You both had your own separate super secret adventures :)  Bodhi, you made cupcakes with Grandmoo, and Jude you went out to lunch and rode on mall rides with GiGi and Gi-Pa.  Mommy and Daddy stayed at home trying to get homework and work done.  Mommy has one last paper to write :(

Grandmoo reported that you, Bodhi, iced the cupcakes all by yourself.  Jude, you were a perfect little piggy when you went out to lunch today. You both had great days away from home.  You both came home for an afternoon nap, and then we all ate dinner together and watched Shrek.  You both stayed up way past your bedtime.  Mommy brought Baby Kitty inside right before bedtime, and then she was off to bed in her home out back.  We all had a really good time together this evening.  We have one more day a part, and then we'll be done with Mommy's schooling!!!!  Sweet dreams my sweet babes.  Aunt Ti will be picking you both up tomorrow afternoon :)

Buddha and GiGi, having an after lunch snack :)

Oh I bet you were such a ham with all that GiGi and Gi-Pa attention for yourself :)-

Playing!

Putting money in you and your sister's piggy banks :)  Sucker!

Feeding Mr. Squirrel :)

Buddha, you love your animals!!!

Momma's two favorite baby girls!!!

Baby Kitty with milk on her coat... Bodhi, you spilt some of your milk on Baby!

The shirt you are wearing is Grandmoo's ha/ha She always returns you in the weirdest clothes/sock etc... You apparently went through three of her shirts, you wore this one for the rest of the night :)

I don't think either of you could get any cuter!

Baby Kitty loves Dora too!  Seriously, she watches tv!!!

Routine Friday

It's becoming a morning tradition to play bat and ball Bodhi.  Juders you keep Mommy stocked with balls to pitch to Bo :)  Bodhi, you get so excited swinging the bat, you are so adorable!  Mommy brought Baby Kitty inside to visit you two.  Bodhi, you are so gentle and good with Baby!  JuBoo, you got your little face scratched trying to grab hold of her.  You are such a boy, you scare Baby!  Mommy took a shower, got you two dressed and fed, and then we were off to Aunt Ti's.  Mommy stopped by Grandmoo's house to pick up her debit card to run some errands for her, she gave you both an apple :)  Aunt Ti says you both were good, you two were all smiles and having a blast when Mommy arrived after work to pick you up.  Buddha, you immediately said, "NO,"  when Mommy walked in the door :(  You both gave Mommy hugs and kisses though :)

Once we arrived home, we all visited with Mr. Arlo and Baby Kitty.  Mr. Arlo gets a long with Baby Kitty, surprisingly!  Both were out in the yard today, just chillin' hee/hee Mr. Murff would have made dinner out of Baby if he was still around :(  I think he'd get Mr. Arlo going because Mr. Arlo has no interest or care when it comes to Baby Kitty.  After settling Baby into her house for the night, we all came inside to get our p.j.'s on and get settled ourselves.  Mommy always has plans to go right to bed after you both, however it never works out as I plan :)-  Tomorrow Mommy will be working on her last paper!!  Last class, last paper, woot woot!  Bodhi, you are going to Grandmoo's and JuBoo, you are going to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's.  Sunday you both will be spending time with Aunt Ti, and then after this weekend we're home free :)  Sweet Dreams my sweet babes!

Continuing to keep Susie and Paul in my thoughts and prayers!

Pictures taken at Aunt Ti's :)

Prayers Going Out

Mommy is mentally exhausted and has a heavy heart.  Every night my routine is to reflect back on our day together while cleaning up the house.  Yes, Mommy talks to herself, well, not out loud at least.  Tonight, I don't quite know how to express the sadness I'm feeling, and unfortunately, Daddy's tooth ache has him passed out so I'm by myself trying to make sense and process through life and death questions etc... :(  Our day started out as usual, you two greeting each other in your own cute little manner, and us all enjoying each other's company playing and playing and playing.  However, while you two were napping Mommy discovered that a neighborhood Momma, Susie Newburn, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor :(  Susie is Ben and Andy's Momma.  Mommy grew up with Ben and Andy and I lived right across the street from them for years.  Mommy's earliest and fondest memories of Susie, were of Susie walking her large, dog-sized CATS on a leash ha/ha  It was the funniest sight ever :)  Mommy was even left in charge of feeding those beasts when the Newburn's went on vacation a few times.  Susie Newburn, and Debbie Riffe, and Jenny Isaacs were all Mommy's "neighborhood Momma's," all influenced and helped shaped Mommy into the person I am today. Grandmoo was a working Momma, so Mommy spent a lot of time with these other Mommas, each uniquely different, but ALL of them LOVED their children with all their heart!  Mommy truly believes in the power of thinking positive and willing yourself to believe you can overcome anything.  This news came after Mommy's boss and good friend, Vivian, sent out a Prayer Mob request for her grandson, Paul.  Paul is a nine year old boy who is also fighting a brain tumor.  The thought behind the prayer mob is to have everyone... acquaintances, family, friends, strangers, anyone and everyone, all pray for Paul on the same date and time, wherever you are, you just stop and say a prayer for him.  Mommy truly believes in the power of prayer and positive thinking.  I don't care who you pray to, or what your specific beliefs are, simply praying can be so therapeutic!  So Mommy will be saying extra prayers for Susie and Paul and their families!!!

This evening Bodhi, you spent time with Mommy, Baby Kitty, and Grandpa Kurt.  JuBoo, you spent time with your Daddy, he took you to a lecture ha/ha yes, you sat through a women's diversity lecture with your Da Da :)  He reports you were actually perfect :)  Bodhi, Mommy baked you cookies while you and Baby Kitty played together.  Grandpa Kurt got the biggest kick out of Baby Kitty following you around, even mimicking you!

You both got extra hugs and kisses tonight, which is hard to believe considering Mommy showers you with hugs and kisses every night!!

Baby Kitty doesn't have a mean bone in her body, this is actually her talking... she talks ALL the time!

Baby Kitty follows you everywhere Bodhi!

You got the biggest kick out of Baby Kitty jumping after you while you were swinging... she thought you were her toy :)

Baby Kitty even helped you dig!  It was the most amazing thing to watch you two together!

You two were so precious!!!

I don't think so Buddha!  You have to go night night in your bed :)

"No.... No, NO, NO!"  That is all you say Buddha!

Special Treats

Mommy failed to mention in yesterday's blog... GiGi had called and requested some Bodhi and Buddha time today, first thing this morning to be exact.  Bodhi, you woke up super early and were very excited and anxiously awaiting GiGi's arrival.  JuBoo, you also woke up a little earlier than usual.  When you both saw GiGi you hollered "GiGi!!!"  So you two spent the morning with GiGi and Gi-Pa playing your little hearts out. You both were treated with a nice pedicure too! GiGi reports that you, Bodhi, were quite fussy, and you pouted on three different occasions.  You awakened too early this morning my little munchkin head.

Mommy and Daddy worked on bills, and school work while you two had a GiGi and Gi-Pa adventure.  When you arrived home, you Bodhi, started crying for your Momma.  Momma carried you up to bed and you went right to sleep.  Jude, you took a little longer to get down, but you eventually fell asleep.  Bodhi, you did not stay asleep.  While Mommy continued to work through the bills, Daddy and Sean Franky decided to hang Mommy's foyer sconces :)  Well, it was one thing after another.  First, the new custom birdcage sconces didn't have switches on them like our old ones, and there was no light switch with a control to turn them off and on.  However, with our quick thinking and we were able to modify the new sconces, just as the old ones had been modified, by adding the old switch to the new sconces.  Major problem diverted, well, at least for the first sconce.  The second sconce is a bit of a blur.  Daddy or Franky, doesn't really matter, someone lost the live wire inside the hollow plaster wall :(  and so our nightmare began!!!...

Bodhi, you woke up and went downstairs to be with Daddy and Franky, but that didn't last long with all the tension in the air.  JuBoo, you woke up in the best mood ever.  Mommy kept you two content while we watched Franky and Daddy freak out.  We then went upstairs until it was time for Mommy to start the corn bread for dinner.  Mommy had the crock pot going with ham and beans :)  YUMM!  The window people showed up, AGAIN!  Daddy had been told they could give us a better price, yeah, not really!  We all ate dinner together, and then played together.  JuBoo you weren't ready to go to bed yet, so Mommy asked if you wanted to watch Rio with your sister, you excitedly said "YES!"  All you say is "NO!" so Mommy knew you were super excited.  You also minded Mommy because Mommy told you if you didn't mind you wouldn't get to stay up late with your sister.  You were so stinkin' cute, you did exactly what Mommy asked :)  So you do have it in you!  While you two were cuddled up watching a movie together, Mommy vacuumed and then fetched Baby Kitty.  Mommy spent an hour with her this morning, and Daddy spent some time with her this evening.  Mommy brought Baby to you two in bed, and you guys loved on her for a good half hour.  I really think Baby would love to be an inside cat.  Mommy doesn't want kitty boxes and fur everywhere, not to mention Mr. Arlo might eat her!  So, she continues to be an outside kitty... but she will be visiting us inside daily :)

Sweet Dreams my sweet babes! Mommy and Daddy love you two very much!!

PS  Hopefully, you two will be better than your Daddy and I... we both spaced Aunt Terrie's birthday :(

Playing outside at GiGi's and Gi-Pa's :)

Bodhi, you always come with creative new ways to play :)

Hula Hoop IT Girlfriend!

Always cleaning up after the squirrels :)  Such a good girl!

Always on the GO!

Pedicure and a snack hee/hee Jude, Mommy knows you were in heaven, and I also now know why you are always putting your feet in Mr. Arlo's water, despite numerous time-outs!!!

Jude, the gentleman... I see who got the chair!

Special bedtime treat :)

Rio!!!!

You two behave! :)-
