Wacky Wednesday

Bodhi, Bodhi, Bodhi!!!  5:00 a.m., really?  You have been waking up "jonesing" for your paci at 5:00 a.m. for the past couple of days!  You are extremely fussy and you don't want Mommy and Daddy to do anything for you, you just want to fuss!  Daddy put you in bed with us and we all went back to sleep.  Since we didn't have to take you and your brother anywhere this morning, we all got a little extra rest, that is after being awakened at 5:00 a.m.  Mommy headed to work at 8:30 a.m. and returned home around 2:00 p.m. Daddy reports that GiGi came over to play with you both, and it was a good thing because Daddy had his hands full.  Ron, Dianna's dad, came back over this morning to hang your new fan Buddha!  He also put a dimmer in our dinning room chandelier :)  Jude, you were super super excited about your new and now working fan and light combo :)  It's funny, you are obsessed with lights and fans, and yours happen to be the only one in the house not working properly.  Your fan looks super nice, and a nice change from the brass one that was previously hanging in your room!  It was one of the least expensive ones too!  Bodhi, we decided to take back your colorful fan.  Mommy has decided that I'm going to paint and decorate your nice big fan instead.  I couldn't see spending the extra money for a little kids' fan, it was colorful, but small and cheap looking.  Mommy will have your fan "blinged" out in the shabby chic style in no time :)

Daddy got you two down for your afternoon nap, and once I returned from work, Daddy was asleep on the couch.  Mommy not feeling well, decided to take a nap as well.  Luckily, you both decided you needed an extra long nap today, so Mommy got a nice nap in, and boy was it nice.  Sean Franky and Ariel stopped in to visit.  Daddy visited with them and told them that we were all asleep upstairs, so we missed Franky and Ariel :(

This evening Mommy played with you both and we took a trip to Lowes to pick out yet another green for our dinning room.  Daddy gets so flustered that Mommy buys paint samples hee/hee The way I look at it, it's better than buying an entire gallon and then having to buy another because it doesn't look right.  Daddy says just paint and live with it, he should know better by now... Mommy would never live with a paint color I didn't like!!!  Plus, Mommy will use all the paint samples for different projects around the house.  It's a win win for Mommy :)  You two actually had fun at Lowes.  Bodhi, you ended up eating the apple Mommy took to compare greens too.  Buddha, you had fun playing with all the paint samples in the cart.  A guy confused you for a girl... but Mommy told him it's okay, it's just because you are so darn pretty hee/hee After our exciting visit to our favorite home improvement store, we returned home where Buddha you retired to bed (an hour and a half past your bedtime).  Bodhi, you insisted on watching television in your bed.  It's 11:00 p.m. now, Mommy needs to check to see if you are asleep yet so I can turn your tv off.  Mommy has tons of homework and work to do, as does Daddy.  I think we are going to call it a night though :)  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

PS Daddy didn't take any pictures... he says he was too busy doing some laundry, ha!  Don't worry, Mommy will teach you both how to multi-task and Daddy can focus on academics :)-  When we get done with you both, you will be well-rounded little munchkins :)

Getting Bodhi ready for bed :)
