Today was a very special day, we met with GiGi, Grandmoo, and GiPa at Bob Evans restaurant and celebrated GiGi’s birthdayJ.Grandmoo treated us all to breakfast and the two of you were in rare form! Buddha, you enjoyed your pancakes with chocolate chips and bacon, and some of Grandmoo’s french-fries and ketchup and some of Daddy’s eggs and some of all of it mixed together!!! Bodhi, you also had pancakes with chocolate chips, and like your brother, you decided you should eat some of Grandmoo’s BLT and french-fries and ketchup, and yep, pretty much mixed lots of things together for your own inventionJ!
After breakfast Mommy took a picture of the two of you with GiGi and GiPa, and then we headed home. Mommy had to go in to work, so Daddy played with the two of you for just a little while, then Grandmoo came over and played with you while Daddy tried to get some work done. Daddy started to get the two of you down for a nap before having to go to work, and Grandmoo reminded Daddy that you both needed to eat lunch firstJ. Daddy made you both some macaroni and cheese and Grandmoo fed the two of you, as Daddy had to get in to work to be sure to be there for his advising schedule.
Later Mommy came home, and you both got to enjoy Grandmoo throughout the afternoon until 2:00 p.m. when you finally had your nap time. Daddy didn’t see you until he got home from work after 7:00 p.m. and when I tried to eat dinner Mommy had ready for me. Bodhi, you helped Mommy make dinner by stirring the gravy for Momma. She said you were such a good helper. Buddha, you insisted on sampling dinner while it was being made. Buddha you also decided you should eat dinner again once Daddy sat down to eatJ. Mommy had to go back to work for a few hours, so Daddy got the two of you dressed for bed and played with the two of you for a while.
Buddha, you were ready for “night, night” and after rocking you for just a few minutes you pointed at your bed and settled in with your “Arlo” stuffed dog, laying on your side and pulling a blanket Daddy put on you up to your chin, and you gave your Daddy a big goodnight smileJ! Bodhi, you decided you wanted to wait up for your Mommy so we watched one of your favorite Nickelodeon segments, Max and Ruby (bunnies, like Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron haveJ).
When Mommy got home, you gave her a full report, Bodhi, you were very talkative, and we decided to join you in the conversation, and talk you in to going to bedJ. Sleep gently you little angel, and dream beautiful dreams of happiness like your baby brother. You two are very special angels and Mommy and Daddy will never let you forget itJ!!!
“Night, night,” and Happy Birthday GiGi!!!
PS Mr. Murff’s candle is still burning strong… over 48 hours now. We miss you so much Mr. Murff!!!
