Our weather here in the Midwest is incredible, freezing last night, significant snow-ice storm system came through. Daddy was up quite early, along with our beautiful little Bodhi who joined us in bed around 4:30 a.m. Daddy looked outside and saw there was significant snow in our shared drive and respective drive-way parking areas, and decided to get up and start shovelingJ. Marian and Barry and their family happily have done so several times for all of us, so I figured I was already up and had a few hours until I had to get to work, so I gave it a go. Whew! Two hours later, Daddy had made a pretty good dent in our shared drive and both parking areas but had to stop to get to work.
When Daddy got home, Mommy had the two of you dressed, fed, and up playing and as lunch approached we both contributed to getting the two of you fed; you were still a little fussy today, Bodhi, but you were happy-go-lucky as usual Jude. After lunch, we got the two of you down for a nap and Mommy had some work to be done and Daddy stayed home and got some work done as well.
We had planned to go to Indy today as a family and were looking forward to an adventure. While the two of you slept, Grandmoo came over and delivered your trundle bed twin mattress (and a replacement coffee cup Mommy had left the original on top of the pickup truck as she drove away…doesn’t work well) Bodhi and was excited about seeing the two of you and seeing your bedroom, Bodhi, but she didn’t want to waken either of you. She brought both of you an apple and a Popsicle, so she “drew” a note to each of you, telling you she loved you and about your treatsJ.
After the two of you got up from your nap, we prepared to go on our adventure. We decided to stop by Grandmoo’s house and return some hand lotion Mommy got for Grandmoo, and the two of you got so excited to see Grandmoo it became obvious the two of you wanted to stay with her and abandon the adventure with Mommy and DaddyJ.
Grandmoo “volunteered” to take the two of you wacky characters on, so Mommy and Daddy made a run to Indianapolis on our own while the two of you enjoyed pure heavenJ. You two were yelling "Mamaw" and "Grandma" while holding little arms out for her... she couldn't help but to keep you both :) Grandmoo fed the two of you dinner, which you helped make, Bodhi, and played with you until Mommy and Daddy got back into town and picked the two of you up around 8:30 p.m. By then, both of you were ready for “night, night” so we returned to our beautiful home and put the two of you to bed.
Mommy had to go out to work for a while, but as soon as she returned she and Daddy were not far behind the two of you in snuggling in for the nightJ. Sweet dreams, you wacky duo—you are loved beyond words and beyond the universe…
And, oh yes, tomorrow it will be around 50 degrees. Indiana, oh Indiana…
