Rainy Day Thursday

Once again, Mommy can hardly keep her eyes open to write this blog... but there are so many great and fun moments to remember and tell about.  Bodhi, you again woke up in the middle of the night, however this morning was much earlier than the past few days... 2:27 a.m. to be exact!  Uggggh!  Mommy again threw you in bed with us and you slept until it was time to get up and get ready to go to Aunt Ti's.  Buddha, you are just so happy when Bodhi and Mommy go in to get you out of your crib!  You shout "Bo Bo, Momm Maaa!"  Bodhi giggles at you :)  Mommy got you both dressed and Daddy took you to Aunt Ti's for the morning.  Mommy then picked you two up shortly before 1:00 p.m., after working.  Bodhi, Mommy asked Aunt Ti how you got that tiny little bruise under you eye, Aunt Ti it was a baby pimple HA!  Aunt Ti says her babes use to get them under their eye right before getting a tooth in... hmmmm.  Mommy thinks maybe you are waking up through the night because your teeth are bothering you.  Mommy just assumed that the biting motion you were doing with your mouth was because you wanted you paci.

Mommy packed you both in the car and headed home.  You two of course fell right to sleep.  As Mommy was driving down East Walnut headed toward our house, about 40 police officers were rushing all over the place, in their cars and on foot.  As Mommy was crossing the railroad tracks I saw crime scene tape blocking a portion of the railroad tracks and a train coming down the tracks.  It looked as though they had probably found a dead body, but Mommy knew they were looking for someone because several police officers were on foot and several other squad cars were blocking roads.   This made Mommy nervous, so I called Daddy to see if he could get the scoop.  However he left his cell phone at home and I couldn't remember his extension, so I called Sister Kelly.  She didn't answer right away, but she eventually called Mommy back.  Mommy had a bad feeling so when we arrived home Mommy decided not to transport each of you inside the house one by one, but instead I had to wake you, Bodhi, and have you walk beside Mommy as I carried your brother inside.  You screamed and screamed.  You were not happy about having to walk yourself, still asleep, inside the house! :(  Mommy just couldn't leave one of you in the car unattended (even if locked and for only a few minutes). Sister Kelly later confirmed there had been another shooting (I guess there was a shooting yesterday too) three people were shot today, she thought one was dead from a gunshot wound to the head.  According to Sister Kelly's sources, there's a person randomly shooting people! UGGGG!

Today was a perfect day for a nap.  Mommy was excited to work on projects, but as I finally got you two settled into your beds with your music softly playing, I couldn't resist jumping in bed myself.  Before I knew it I woke up at 5:30 p.m.!!!  You two were still sleeping!!!  I can't remember the last time you both slept for so long!  Mommy was panicking.  I had slept the entire afternoon away, not to mention it was time for dinner but we all had been sleeping.  Jude, you heard Mommy using the bathroom and woke up "Mommm Maaa!"  I went in your room and you stood up in your crib, with a great big smile on your face.  You then started shouting "Bo Bo!"  "Bo Bo!"  Bodhi, you heard your brother and got up.  Today was the first day in a long time you woke up in a great mood! :)  I guess we all needed some extra sleep.  Mommy was relieved you woke up in a good mood.  These past few days especially, have been torture, you've been a major grouch right after waking up.  Your bad moods don't last long, but wheeeew that first hour is no fun!

Daddy, Sister Kelly, and Brother Aaron all arrived shortly after we all awakened.  Mommy and Daddy ordered everyone Buffalo Wild Wings (Thursday night special) and Daddy put in a movie Sean Franky brought over for us to watch.  Mommy went and conducted a drug screen and picked our wings.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron played with you two.  After Mommy arrived back we all ate dinner and watched a movie.  Since we all had an extra long nap, Mommy decided to keep you both up later than usual.  Mommy told Daddy I was going to take Ju Ju to Lowes to pick up some paint, since he hates when his Mommy leaves, but Bodhi, you decided you wanted to go too.  So, Mommy took you both as well a chandelier to return back to Lowes in the rain!  You two were so good and really enjoyed going on an adventure with Mommy.  Mommy then stopped and got you two a child size milkshake.  You both were saying "yummmm," as we drove home :)  Mommy brought Daddy home a chip shake.

Buddha, you went to bed after we got home, and Bodhi, you too went to bed.  However, you Bodhi, talked Mommy into allowing you to watch ONE cartoon in your bed.  You promised Mommy you wouldn't ask to watch another, and that you would go to bed when Mommy came in to turn your tv off.  You didn't though.  Mommy finally explained after you started screaming, Mommy is going to take the tv out of your room!  You promised Mommy you wouldn't cry and fight once your show was over.  After talking to you, you hugged Mommy and settled down.  You are so precious!  You are now asleep, but your screams that woke your brother, has him wrestling around in his crib as I write this at 12 a.m.   Sweet Dreams my sweet babes!  I'm going to miss you two tomorrow while you are at Aunt Ti's all day :(
