No Nap Tuesday, Uggggh!

Oh my oh my oh me!  Daddy is was out with his back all day, and Mommy sleep deprived and congested worked the morning away.  You two had a good day at Aunt Ti's but both of you decided that you didn't need a nap today, ugggh!  Buddha, you had a poo butt that awakened you, and well, Bodhi, I don't know what your deal was.  Oh well!  Mommy got you both up and you ran all over the house playing, screaming, and laughing.  Snack time rolled around and you both started fussing and asking for "cheese please!"  Mommy decided to mix up some old white ceiling paint with some of our new blue paint for a pretty sky blue for your dining room ceiling.  Mommy managed to entertain, supervise, and keep you two out of the paint as I painted two coats on our dinning room ceiling.... Go Momma!  About the time I made it to the second coat, woa, look out!  You two were cranking like no body's business!  Lord!  You two would not stop crying and fussing!  Mommy made you two dinner and that didn't help either.  You two definitely needed a nap today!

Bodhi, I was able to get you settled down by bribing you with a bath :)  You changed your tune real quick, and you and your brother darted for the stairs!  You two LOVE your baths!  After bath time, Buddha, you fell asleep, and Bodhi, you were fighting it big time, but you eventually fell asleep.  Just as Bodhi fell asleep, you, Jude, woke back up again.  Daddy rocked you for a while but he couldn't get you back to sleep.  After about five minutes of crying you eventually were down for the night :)  Mommy then started working on her four reports, four pay sheets, and other paperwork... it's going to be a long night again!

Daddy had told Mommy to cancel Aunt Ti's tomorrow so he could spend the day with you two...however, Daddy can hardly move and that is not going to fly with you two.  GiGi called and asked if she could have you two for the morning.  Mommy told her that Daddy wanted you two, but decided it's probably best if someone that can bend and move watch you hee/hee So, you two are in for an extra special treat... GiGi and Gi-Pa's tomorrow :)  Sweet dreams my crank butt babes!  Hopefully you both catch up on your sleep :)  Momma loves you fussy or not!

Oh and, you Mommy was all multi-taskin' out... I didn't manage to get any pictures :(

Mommy let Mr. Arlo outside to go potty and forgot about him ha/ha When Mommy finally remembered, he was playing with the two girls next door :)-  Sorry Mr. Arlo!

Two coats of blue, I still have to cut out and paint the medallion.  I haven't decided what color to paint the medallion yet :)  I love our home!!

Mixed Monday

Today was a “mixed Monday.” On the one hand, the two of you started the day in a happy frame of mind and sang along with Daddy as he drove you to Aunt Ti’s. When you got home at day’s end, you were both still in a happy frame of mind and both of you acknowledged you had a good day. Aunt Ti reported that you both had a GREAT day!  Hooray for a good MondayJ!  Mommy picked up a chocolate milkshake for the two of you to eat on the way home from Aunt Ti’s… you two were super excited about that J
On the other hand, Mommy hasn’t felt well today (and since last night) with a sore, achy throat and intermittent tummy ache (Daddy has had a tummy ache tooL). And around mid-morning Daddy lifted a table and afterwards could barely move. Daddy got in to see his doctor and received a shot to offset the muscular tightness and pain…ouch…boo for a bad MondayL!
We ate dinner together, then got the two of you off to bed so Mommy and Daddy could continue a long day of work, work, work…and so Mommy could try to squeeze in some of her many home improvement projects. Daddy loves and admires Mommy for her work ethic and energy, and genuinely appreciates that all of us are going to have a remarkably unique, beautiful house to call our homeJ.
Hey, sorry our entry is so short tonight, Bodhi and Buddha, Daddy simply cannot sit still long enough to compose more reflections on a mixed Monday. There is nothing mixed about our love for the two of you, you adorable angels! No matter how badly Daddy’s back is hurting right now, he (and Mommy) wish this (and every) Monday had more time left in it---we wish sometimes time would simply stand still, so we could stand and hold the two of you close to our hearts and whisper “I love you” forever and ever and ever and ever.
Happy Monday, babies, see you tomorrow on Happy Tuesday!!!
Pictures taken at Aunt Ti's today... Buddha, you had a major poo butt so Aunt Ti had to put you in your extra "junk" outfit LOL

Family Sunday

As promised, Daddy made us all a delicious breakfast consisting of fried eggs, bagels, and cherry bread :)  We all chowed down!  Mommy jumped in the shower, and Daddy played with you both and got you two dressed and ready to go.  We all went to TJ Maxx to check out a toy chest for Buddha's room.  Mommy also picked up a bird cage, Mommy's going to make a birdcage chandelier out of it :)  After picking up some goodies, we all went to Panera for lunch where each ate a bowl of soup and an apple.  You two were very tired and were on the verge of falling asleep in the car when we finally made it home.  Mommy and Daddy carried you each up to bed, wrestled with you both to get you to go back to sleep, and then we all took a family Sunday fternoon nap :)   Buddha, you went with Daddy to Walmart, ugggh... and he DIDN'T sanitize the cart, so we'll all be sick in a few days, and Bodhi, you stayed behind with Mommy and Grandmoo.  Buddha, you helped Daddy stock up on you and your sister's food, and Bodhi, you helped Mommy scrape wallpaper off of part of our dinning room wall.  Well, in between painting a picture and sweeping the wallpaper off of the floor... you are so precious!

When Daddy arrived home, you two ate a late dinner, and then it was bath time!  You two LOVE bath time, and unfortunately we missed our Friday bath, so you were both desperate to "get under some water," as Daddy says.  Grandmoo worked on the Buddha and Bodhi Animal Rescue house while Mommy bathed and got you two ready to settle in for the night.  Afterwards, Daddy rocked you to sleep Buddha, and Bodhi, you insisted on staying awake and watching cartoons with Grandmoo.  Mommy had to leave to conduct a visit, and Daddy fell asleep on the couch.  Bodhi, you sneaked drinks of Daddy's coke on the end table, and Grandmoo let you!  Once Mommy returned home, and hour later, Mommy put you to bed, after you loved on Grandmoo, and I got everything ready for tomorrow.... clothes, food, diapers etc... Tomorrow, you two will be spending a long day with Aunt Ti.  Mommy's schedule had to change once again because Mommy's client's schedule changed, ugggh!  So, Mommy is going to have to refigure how best to work out our schedules.  Mommy will sure miss you both tomorrow.  I love our weekends together!  Through the week you two are usually home from 1pm through the evening, but you two take long afternoon naps which cuts into your Mommy time :(

Oh AND, Sean Franky and Ariel dropped in today :)  They need to come over and spend more time with us!  OH AND, there was another shooting!  The newspaper reported that they had arrested the shooter and believed that he acted alone, however, while he sits in jail another shooting occurred :(

Bath pictures are the best... you two LOVE LOVE LOVE bath time together :)  Bodhi, you laugh so hard at your brother, and Buddha, you love to make your sister laugh!

"Don't do it Bubba, you'll go blind!"

"Lets splash Mommy on THREE!"

Bodhi rinsing her brother :)

Clean little piggy! :)

Buddha you decided you weren't going to wait for Mommy to finish getting Bodhi dressed, you were getting out!

Another Saturday Night…

Mommy and Daddy are in a rut, we both seem to get nothing done, and exhaust ourselves in the processL. Today, Mommy lost a good deal of her time negotiating and closing a deal on our cell phone contract. We needed to get it done, and Daddy was looking forward to upgrading our service, but it was a drag for Mommy to have to hassle with for several hours. Later, Buddha, you and Daddy went out to a Verizon outlet to close the deal and pick up one of our two new phones (the other has to be shipped so Mommy will not have hers until Wednesday---then she will have to do what we did, Buddha, spend at least an hour getting her phone service transferred over to her new phone—yikes, that will cause Mommy some added stressL). Still, Mommy did great in getting our deal closed! J !
Mommy also met with one of her close friends, Gabby (and her mother) at our Leeds Street house to discuss purchasing it and moving forward on yet another of one of our projects needing closureJ.
Mommy was sad throughout the day, thinking often about how much she misses Murffee, she need lots of hugs and kisses from her angels, little Buddha and little Bodhi!
Tonight, Grandmoo came over to do some more work on your playhouse and “cat-houseJ,” aka “Bodhi’s and Buddha’s Animal Rescue Home.”  Bodhi, so still another of our projects is moving forward. And Mommy, in spite of being busy all day, spent time preparing our dining room for her starting to paint it. And Mommy is starting to plan a new paint color for the living room, as well. Busy Mommy!!!
Grandmoo made time to visit you both, bringing you some goodies (fruit) to snack on J  Grandmoo asked that we yell at her when it was time for nighty night time so she can give hugs and kisses!  Grandmoo ended up playing with you, Bodhi, as well as Mommy instead of tucking you in.  You were picking your toe jam and Mommy and Grandmoo were running away from you all over the house hee/hee.
Daddy, as has been usual lately, is tired and is feeling like just another Saturday night, a day starting early with work, stress over the phone business, and a continuing tooth ache that drains energyL.
But enough blues, the two of you miracle babies deserve upbeat parents, thankful for our blessings, which are beyond belief, and so Mommy is going to try to get over a horrific headache that has bothered her all evening, and Daddy is going to focus his energy more positively. And tomorrow, we will start our day with Chef Daddy making us breakfast and a trip to check out a possible toy chest for Buddha’s room. We need to channel positive vibrations into this dream house, and reacquaint ourselves with our dream come true—one another!!!
Love and peace. And lots of extra kissesJJJJJ…every Saturday night is a special night with you two special babiesJJJJJJJJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While Daddy and Buddha were out picking up our phones, us girls stayed behind :)  Mommy scraped wallpaper off our dinning room walls while you created some art pieces that will probably be displayed in the dinning room :)

Look at that concentration!

Buddha's favorite time of the day.... dinner time!

Buddha, you go into a trance while eating hee/hee
Buddha, you are such a love bug!  You insist on Mommy holding you tightly, loving on you before going to bed.  Today, when you were at Verizon with Daddy, Daddy said you kept giving hugs and kisses and everyone was "ooooh'ing and awwww'ing" over you! :)

Frenzy Friday

Today was a long day for all of us, Mommy and Daddy had to work all day, while the two of you stayed with Aunt Ti. Andrew is sick, so we’re on the alert for more illness, and you already show signs of wheezing BuddhaL.
By the time the two of you got home, Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron had come by. Brother Sean Franky also stopped by briefly, everyone is trying to help Mommy and Daddy figure out a cell-phone plan to purchase. Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stayed for dinner and a movie, Mommy had to go back out to work and then on her way home she picked up a family dinner for us from Bob Evans.
You were relatively easy to get down for the evening, Bodhi, but your brother didn’t want to be left alone (you insisted on being held, Buddha) so Mommy and Daddy got you back up to stay up with all of us for a while during the movie. Finally, you answered yes when Daddy asked if you were ready for “night, night,” and when Daddy carried you up to your bed you went right to sleepJ.
Tonight’s blog entry is going to be shorter than usual, Daddy is just plain worn out and has to be up early tomorrow morning to go to work. It is supposed to snow overnight, so Daddy is looking forward to getting up even earlier than usual to shovel our drive.
So, “night, night” everyone, love and peace!!!
Bodhi, Aunt Ti said you were so excited to go bye bye with her today :)

Such a stink pot :)

Sweet baby girl.. paci free!

Such a little poser!

Nice Aunt Ti :)-

Free Airplane rides with Sister Kelly :)

"Lets sit on Sister Kelly!"

Ju Ju pulled his "time-out" chair out from the other room and took a time-out in front of the tube hee/hee

Rainy Day Thursday

Once again, Mommy can hardly keep her eyes open to write this blog... but there are so many great and fun moments to remember and tell about.  Bodhi, you again woke up in the middle of the night, however this morning was much earlier than the past few days... 2:27 a.m. to be exact!  Uggggh!  Mommy again threw you in bed with us and you slept until it was time to get up and get ready to go to Aunt Ti's.  Buddha, you are just so happy when Bodhi and Mommy go in to get you out of your crib!  You shout "Bo Bo, Momm Maaa!"  Bodhi giggles at you :)  Mommy got you both dressed and Daddy took you to Aunt Ti's for the morning.  Mommy then picked you two up shortly before 1:00 p.m., after working.  Bodhi, Mommy asked Aunt Ti how you got that tiny little bruise under you eye, Aunt Ti it was a baby pimple HA!  Aunt Ti says her babes use to get them under their eye right before getting a tooth in... hmmmm.  Mommy thinks maybe you are waking up through the night because your teeth are bothering you.  Mommy just assumed that the biting motion you were doing with your mouth was because you wanted you paci.

Mommy packed you both in the car and headed home.  You two of course fell right to sleep.  As Mommy was driving down East Walnut headed toward our house, about 40 police officers were rushing all over the place, in their cars and on foot.  As Mommy was crossing the railroad tracks I saw crime scene tape blocking a portion of the railroad tracks and a train coming down the tracks.  It looked as though they had probably found a dead body, but Mommy knew they were looking for someone because several police officers were on foot and several other squad cars were blocking roads.   This made Mommy nervous, so I called Daddy to see if he could get the scoop.  However he left his cell phone at home and I couldn't remember his extension, so I called Sister Kelly.  She didn't answer right away, but she eventually called Mommy back.  Mommy had a bad feeling so when we arrived home Mommy decided not to transport each of you inside the house one by one, but instead I had to wake you, Bodhi, and have you walk beside Mommy as I carried your brother inside.  You screamed and screamed.  You were not happy about having to walk yourself, still asleep, inside the house! :(  Mommy just couldn't leave one of you in the car unattended (even if locked and for only a few minutes). Sister Kelly later confirmed there had been another shooting (I guess there was a shooting yesterday too) three people were shot today, she thought one was dead from a gunshot wound to the head.  According to Sister Kelly's sources, there's a person randomly shooting people! UGGGG!

Today was a perfect day for a nap.  Mommy was excited to work on projects, but as I finally got you two settled into your beds with your music softly playing, I couldn't resist jumping in bed myself.  Before I knew it I woke up at 5:30 p.m.!!!  You two were still sleeping!!!  I can't remember the last time you both slept for so long!  Mommy was panicking.  I had slept the entire afternoon away, not to mention it was time for dinner but we all had been sleeping.  Jude, you heard Mommy using the bathroom and woke up "Mommm Maaa!"  I went in your room and you stood up in your crib, with a great big smile on your face.  You then started shouting "Bo Bo!"  "Bo Bo!"  Bodhi, you heard your brother and got up.  Today was the first day in a long time you woke up in a great mood! :)  I guess we all needed some extra sleep.  Mommy was relieved you woke up in a good mood.  These past few days especially, have been torture, you've been a major grouch right after waking up.  Your bad moods don't last long, but wheeeew that first hour is no fun!

Daddy, Sister Kelly, and Brother Aaron all arrived shortly after we all awakened.  Mommy and Daddy ordered everyone Buffalo Wild Wings (Thursday night special) and Daddy put in a movie Sean Franky brought over for us to watch.  Mommy went and conducted a drug screen and picked our wings.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron played with you two.  After Mommy arrived back we all ate dinner and watched a movie.  Since we all had an extra long nap, Mommy decided to keep you both up later than usual.  Mommy told Daddy I was going to take Ju Ju to Lowes to pick up some paint, since he hates when his Mommy leaves, but Bodhi, you decided you wanted to go too.  So, Mommy took you both as well a chandelier to return back to Lowes in the rain!  You two were so good and really enjoyed going on an adventure with Mommy.  Mommy then stopped and got you two a child size milkshake.  You both were saying "yummmm," as we drove home :)  Mommy brought Daddy home a chip shake.

Buddha, you went to bed after we got home, and Bodhi, you too went to bed.  However, you Bodhi, talked Mommy into allowing you to watch ONE cartoon in your bed.  You promised Mommy you wouldn't ask to watch another, and that you would go to bed when Mommy came in to turn your tv off.  You didn't though.  Mommy finally explained after you started screaming, Mommy is going to take the tv out of your room!  You promised Mommy you wouldn't cry and fight once your show was over.  After talking to you, you hugged Mommy and settled down.  You are so precious!  You are now asleep, but your screams that woke your brother, has him wrestling around in his crib as I write this at 12 a.m.   Sweet Dreams my sweet babes!  I'm going to miss you two tomorrow while you are at Aunt Ti's all day :(

What color did Mommy pick for the dinning room?????

Wacky Wednesday

Bodhi, Bodhi, Bodhi!!!  5:00 a.m., really?  You have been waking up "jonesing" for your paci at 5:00 a.m. for the past couple of days!  You are extremely fussy and you don't want Mommy and Daddy to do anything for you, you just want to fuss!  Daddy put you in bed with us and we all went back to sleep.  Since we didn't have to take you and your brother anywhere this morning, we all got a little extra rest, that is after being awakened at 5:00 a.m.  Mommy headed to work at 8:30 a.m. and returned home around 2:00 p.m. Daddy reports that GiGi came over to play with you both, and it was a good thing because Daddy had his hands full.  Ron, Dianna's dad, came back over this morning to hang your new fan Buddha!  He also put a dimmer in our dinning room chandelier :)  Jude, you were super super excited about your new and now working fan and light combo :)  It's funny, you are obsessed with lights and fans, and yours happen to be the only one in the house not working properly.  Your fan looks super nice, and a nice change from the brass one that was previously hanging in your room!  It was one of the least expensive ones too!  Bodhi, we decided to take back your colorful fan.  Mommy has decided that I'm going to paint and decorate your nice big fan instead.  I couldn't see spending the extra money for a little kids' fan, it was colorful, but small and cheap looking.  Mommy will have your fan "blinged" out in the shabby chic style in no time :)

Daddy got you two down for your afternoon nap, and once I returned from work, Daddy was asleep on the couch.  Mommy not feeling well, decided to take a nap as well.  Luckily, you both decided you needed an extra long nap today, so Mommy got a nice nap in, and boy was it nice.  Sean Franky and Ariel stopped in to visit.  Daddy visited with them and told them that we were all asleep upstairs, so we missed Franky and Ariel :(

This evening Mommy played with you both and we took a trip to Lowes to pick out yet another green for our dinning room.  Daddy gets so flustered that Mommy buys paint samples hee/hee The way I look at it, it's better than buying an entire gallon and then having to buy another because it doesn't look right.  Daddy says just paint and live with it, he should know better by now... Mommy would never live with a paint color I didn't like!!!  Plus, Mommy will use all the paint samples for different projects around the house.  It's a win win for Mommy :)  You two actually had fun at Lowes.  Bodhi, you ended up eating the apple Mommy took to compare greens too.  Buddha, you had fun playing with all the paint samples in the cart.  A guy confused you for a girl... but Mommy told him it's okay, it's just because you are so darn pretty hee/hee After our exciting visit to our favorite home improvement store, we returned home where Buddha you retired to bed (an hour and a half past your bedtime).  Bodhi, you insisted on watching television in your bed.  It's 11:00 p.m. now, Mommy needs to check to see if you are asleep yet so I can turn your tv off.  Mommy has tons of homework and work to do, as does Daddy.  I think we are going to call it a night though :)  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

PS Daddy didn't take any pictures... he says he was too busy doing some laundry, ha!  Don't worry, Mommy will teach you both how to multi-task and Daddy can focus on academics :)-  When we get done with you both, you will be well-rounded little munchkins :)

Getting Bodhi ready for bed :)

Silly girl! :)-

Look at that sucker!!! :)  Such a stink pot!

Mommy had just rocked you to sleep :)  I love our rocking time together!!!!!

All painted YAY!

A Brand New Day And A Brand New Bodhi

Good morning 5:00 a.m.  Bodhi, you woke up at 5:00 a.m. wanting your pacifier :( ugggh!  You eventually fell back asleep and Mommy jumped in the shower.  Once you were up and moving, you were a new girl.  Bodhi, you were talking more and just all-around more outgoing and happy!  Buddha, you were a ball of spitfire as usual!  Mommy got you both dressed and to Aunt Ti's.  When Mommy returned to Aunt Ti's after work, she reported that she is "loving the new Bodhi!"  Mommy asked Aunt Ti what she meant and she said you were so happy and outgoing Bo!  Aunt Ti said you did ask for pacifier once but you got over it pretty quickly.  :)  It's absolutely amazing how getting rid of the pacifier has changed you overnight!

Mommy took you both home for naps.  Daddy was at home for a quick break, waiting on us to arrive.  Daddy carried you in from the car Bodhi, and you woke up and began crying.  You wanted your paci.  Daddy turned on your tv for you, but you never did go to sleep.  Mommy fell asleep working on work, and was awakened by you, Bodhi, again wanting your paci.  You climbed in bed with Mommy and fell asleep.  Shortly after you finally fell asleep, Jude woke up from his nap.  Bo, you woke up extremely cranky once your brother started hollaring "Bo Bo!"  Mommy quickly decided, you two were going to eat a snack and then we were going for a stroller ride outside.  Bodhi, once Mommy told you we were going on a walk, you cheered back up.  Jude, you kept saying "Yeah, outside!"  You were so stinkin' cute. We all packed up the stroller and even got Mr. Arlo outside.  Mr. Arlo's walk didn't last but half a block.  He was wanting to do his own thing and stop and pee on everything.  Mommy had to drag him the little distance he would walk.  Mommy turned him right back around and put him back in the house.  Bodhi and Jude, you were then in for a treat.  We walked over to Grandmoo's house :)  Once there you two played and warmed up before returning home.  You two always have fun at Grandmoo's :)

Mommy got busy making a late dinner for you two.  You both were super hungry and ate a ton of cheese.  Bodhi, you helped Mommy make the gravy for the country fried steaks and mashed potatoes.  Buddha, you stirred a bowl of water on the kitchen floor hee/hee You two pigged out and really loved dinner.  After dinner, Bodhi, you wanted to go upstairs so Mommy took you both up to get your jammies on.  Buddha, you were ready to go "night night."  You two are so precious with one another.  You two always give each other a goodnight kiss and hug before retiring to bed :)  Bodhi, you fell asleep WITHOUT your paci while Mommy was rocking your brother to sleep.  A couple more days I'm sure you'll be over the whole paci thing!  Thank you Aunt Ti for setting the conclusion to the paci in motion :)  We love you!

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!
