A Week In Our New Home

This time last week Mommy and Daddy were frantically packing in preparation for the movers to move us Monday morning.  We've officially been here ONE week and it's been an exciting and exhausting week!  We've managed to unpack most of our belongings, decorate or arrange a few of the rooms the way we want them, and Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo, as well as you two babes... LOVE our new home.  Everyone does miss Grandmoo so much though!  Bodhi, you've looked out the window a few times this week, pointed across the street and said "no Moo Moo?"  It was so sad.  Mr. Murff on the other hand, seems to be less anxious...he can't watch out the windows, and he doesn't catch glimpses of Grandmoo, so I don't know if this means he happier or that he is depressed :0??  Anyway, we have so much still yet to do, and today provided us no rest. Once we get pretty much settled, then Mommy will begin the fun stuff... hanging pictures, painting, changing out carpet, etc..

You two did take your first bath in our new home tonight :)  You two were stinkin' little booty butts!  GiGi gave you a bath at her house while we were moving, but I'm too embarrassed to even say when that was!  Our old bath was brand new, so it's hard to beat it, but the space of our new bathroom is amazing!  Bodhi, you love that half of it is in carpet.  Once Mommy dried you off on the tile, you jumped over to the carpet and said "oooooh!"  Mommy laughed.  Mommy hates carpet (even if only partly) in the bathroom, but I have a feeling you two will object to Momma ripping it out anytime soon hee/hee  You two had a really good day.  You played well with one another, gave each other lovin's (so this means you'll be sick next Bodhi), and you went shopping with Mommy and Daddy for some household supplies, AGAIN!  Mommy managed to get her clothes sorted and will finish putting them away before bed, and the laundry is caught up.  Mommy has never had nor used a dishwasher before, so it's been so fun to load the dishes away all day and not have to worry about washing and drying them after every meal!  Mommy is super excited about this.  I never really understood the appeal of a dishwasher, but boy now that I have one I do!  Anyway, tomorrow, Buddha Daddy is trying to get you in to see the doctor, and Bodhi, GiGi is coming to sit with you while Mommy goes to work.  So, sweet dreams my sweet babies!  Mommy has sweet dreams of everything she wants to do to our new home :) and us spending many many years together as a family enjoying this home!

Snack time brings out the love!

"Swallow it Buddha!"

"I'm gonna stick your paci in your nose for droolin' in my mouth!"

"I know you were too young to remember last Christmas, but that's where all our gifts go when we're good babies!"

"I'm a good boy Momma!"

"Now Momma, you know there will be gifts under those trees for me!"

"I couldn't resist!"
"I'm so sorry Momma, I had to pull just one more off!"

Cheese is your favorite snack Bodhi!  You've also claimed the green chair that was in Daddy's office at our old house and is now in our living room :)
