Mr. Murff Macbeth Turns 8 Today!

Well, Mr. Murff, Mommy didn't know if you'd make it to see your 8th birthday.  Just a day or so ago you were not doing well at all.  You still aren't well, but you are no where near as bad as the other day though.  The medicine you started Friday, I believe, caused a nasty bumpy rash all over your belly and chest, plus you puked.  The new medicine was supposed to help you get up and down but you obviously had a bad reaction to it.  The bumps were knot-sized, and you just looked plain horrible.  Mommy called the doctor Saturday but the doctor wasn't in so Mommy just opted to take you off of it.  We just can't win!  You are however more mobile, so we'll talk with the doctor Monday and see where to go from here. We made a special trip to McDonalds and bought you and Mr. Arlo a McDouble for your birthday meal, it's your favorite.  Then you got some fun outside time with Grandmoo, just you and Mr. Arlo (no Buddha and Bodhi).  You were in heaven!  Happy Birthday my #1 fuzzy boy! 

Bodhi and Jude, you two were a challenge today with the time change.  You guys don't understand that you are supposed to nap according to what time it is, and not what time your body thinks it is hee/hee  Mommy and Daddy got you both dressed, after eating Daddy's infamous scrambled eggs!  We then headed to Sam's Club for lunch hahahahahaha!  They hand out free samples, so we had a bite of everything under the sun :)-  Daddy's back was hurting him so Mommy dropped him off at home and we headed to the park.  Mommy was determined to keep you two awake until 1pm... what would have been 2pm, if it were yesterday.  I knew the only way I was going to be successful at keeping you two awake, was to take you both to the park to run free!  It worked, and when we returned home, you both fell right asleep. 

After naps, Mommy made you both dinner and a promise that when you two finished, you could go play with Grandmoo outside.  Grandmoo was working outside and had asked if you two could come over... Mommy said yes, but after you both ate dinner.  Bodhi, you were so excited, you kept saying "Moo" while you were eating.  You tried to say you were finished (by signing) after a few bites, but Mommy knew better. Mommy told you that you had to eat the rest of your vegetables if you wanted to go to Grandmoo's.  So, you started chowing down on those vegetables :)  After dinner you two went and played in Grandmoo's leaves.  Sister Kelly and Brother Governor came by to drop some wine off for Mommy and Daddy, and to visit you two.  Sister Kelly went over to Grandmoo's and played with you both.  When you two came back home, Mommy threw you both in the bath so you'd be nice and fresh for Aunt Ti tomorrow.  Mommy managed to get both of your beddings washed too... fresh beds for some fresh babes!

Mommy failed to mention in your blog this past week... Buddha, you manged to crawl out of your play pin one day last week, Daddy had told you he'd be right back before getting you out because he had to use the bathroom, you got so mad.... and then Mommy and Daddy heard a thump.  Daddy ran to the stairs thinking Bodhi had flipped out of her crib, where you, Buddha,  were standing at the top of the stairs.  Luckily, you haven't done it again since, but it was a real wake-up call to Mommy and Daddy.  Bodhi, I think you've had a growth spurt in the last few days.  I can't tell you how many times Daddy commented on how tall you are today!  You ARE getting so tall :)  Mommy's future volleyball player!  Bodhi, tonight in the bath, you hit your foot against the tub plug, and I promise you said "Shhhhit!"  Mommy, was like uttt ooohhh!  Mommy and Daddy have to clean up their potty mouths!

Sweet Baby Bo... as tired as you were, you didn't fuss once.  Bubba on the other hand, fussed up a storm!

The tunnel always makes you fuss though!  You get so mad that you can't stand up in it!  You just keep bumping your head and screaming.  You did do better in the tunnel today, you got the hang of manuevering your legs so that you could get out.

Bo, you climbed up on all the bouncing critters at the park today, all by yourself!!  :)  Such a big girl!

Mommy couldn't tear you away from the wheel... you would scream and scream and scream.  Luckily, Bo managed to get herself up on play equipment by herself.  I couldn't leave your side, you are such a wild man!
