Thursday Night Blues

Wake up Jude!!! Wow, those words are rarely spoke, but this morning Mommy had to wake you up to get you ready to go to Aunt Ti's Buddha :)  Bo, Mommy dressed you in your Dora outfit, since you've been attached to your new Dora and Diego dolls :)  Buddha, Mommy dressed you in your "Mommy's Sidekick" shirt, because well your Momma's little mini-me, though Bodhi, you are becoming quite the little Mommy's girl too :) YESSSS! The sky was so pretty on our way to Aunt Ti's this morning.  Bodhi, you and Momma always talk about the sky, clouds, sun, and moon during our morning commute, and you agreed, this morning the sky was beautifully colored :) You two had another great day at Aunt Ti's!  Aunt said neither of you fussed at all today :)  Bodhi girl, you hit your head and then walked up to Bubba, and pointed to the spot that you wanted him to kiss.  Aunt Ti said it was so adorable.

Mommy carried you both into the house and put you in your beds.  You both passed out in the car on the way home.  Bodhi, you tried your hardest to stay awake, you love the hills on Sycamore street and every time Mommy would go over one you would giggle and smile.  Mommy can't help but to watch you in the review mirror.  Mommy has to be sneaky about it because if you notice Momma watching you, you frown hee/hee

This evening we had a less than nutritional dinner.  Mommy didn't feel like cooking, so you both ate mozzarella cheese sticks :)-  Of course, you both LOVED them!  You both are major cheese hounds.  After dinner Mommy put you in the living room to play while I cleaned up the kitchen.  Buddha, you don't mind Mommy vacuuming, so long as Mr. Murff doesn't bark.  When Mr. Murff decides to bark, you in turn start screaming.  Mr. Murff is getting worse again.  Mommy called the doctor to switch his medication because the newest medication wasn't working, Mr. Murff isn't handling this new medication very well either.  He can hardly stand up and he's puked the medicine up twice :( This breaks Mommy's heart.  His 8th birthday is November 6th, but if this medication doesn't start helping, Mommy doesn't know if he'll make it to his 8th birthday. I can't tell you how difficult this is for Momma.  Mr. Murff has so much love and life in his eyes, but his body is giving out on him.  The doctors, specialists, even after $1,000's of dollars spent, cannot figure out what is going on with him.  This is by far the most difficult decision Mommy has ever faced.  A part of Mommy feels like she should take him out back and shoot him, face to face, just like Great Papaw Grills had to do with his best pal, Spike.  There's sort of a spiritual connection, including both closure and compassion in the act, but a part of Mommy is not at peace about making the decision to end another soul's life.  I of course don't want him to suffer, but to what extent and what behaviors should be exhibited before deciding to take another's life?  I know he's not happy, but I see the will for him to want to get better.  He's still eating, going outside to use the bathroom, etc... but it's not the life he wants.  For the past two days he's gotten progressively worse, he can hardly stand up.  However, he's been this bad and worse in the past, but he's struggled through it and had some good days.  I just don't know.
